Imma Tataranni is a deputy prosecutor with a prodigious memory, accustomed to solving cases using unorthodox methods.

Imma spends the summer with her family in Metaponto when she sees a tattooed finger floating in the sea. The crime is present and she gets assigned the case. When the investigation suffers a break, it is discovered that the places where the pieces of the dead were found will lead to the resolution of the case.
