In her mid-twenties, San Diego Native Samantha Evans is confronted with a decision to follow her heart or follow her dreams of becoming Los Angeles' newest romance columnist. Having fallen in love for the first time with her best friend, a free-spirited boy from college, she is forced to make the choice of admitting her feelings for him or leaving him unaware for the job of a lifetime. All in a day's struggle, Samantha will make a decision that will change her future.

In hopes of escaping a vapid future in Ann Harbor, Michigan, Sara Cohen does what any lost yet optimistic college graduate dreams of doing: she moves to New York City. Arriving without informing her parents, having a job to start or boyfriend to move in with, Sara has nothing but unknown adventures to begin. However, like most adventures, things never go as desired. Sara quickly realizes that while New York is a dream, it can also be a nightmare involving neurotic high-status families, ruthless Wall Street suits, experimental hipsters often confused with the homeless, all while trying find purpose within the city and herself. Luckily, she has a couple friends from high school that help her take the plunge into what it truly means to live survive in New York, but more importantly, how to thrive in EASTVILLE.
