- The year is 37 BC. A young Liburnian Volsus is taken by a Roman unit to help in what at first seems a simple task of collecting taxes, but the encounters with local Illyrian tribes soon lead to unexpected turns of events, as they show more resilience to subjugation than meets the eye. We see their archaic, emotional world of quaint and brutal laws and traditions through the eyes of this youngster, regarded by the Romans as a primitive barbarian, and gradually come to understand that their world is not all that different from our own.
- In search of the best photo for the school competition, four teenagers head to remote hills. The competition for awards turns into a struggle for survival. Manc, who leads the group to remote but scenic countryside, where he spent his childhood with his grandpa, had been accused of stealing a phone and consequently might be expelled from school. Schoolmates Mina, Oto and Spurc join him on this trip. Mina, who is spoiled, stubborn city girl, breaks first in this foreign environment, but luckily by her side always stands Oto, rational boy who is in love with her. In this untouched nature which is such an unknown world to them also Spurc, who was golden-spoon-fed all his life, turns into a cowardish spoiled-child, and at the end Manc is again the one who safely guides them back home. A story about growing up, love, friendship and heroism. The warm but suspenseful and occasionally spine-chilling film focuses on what happens in the today's world when technology stops working and the 'primal' human instincts come to light.
- Paolo, passes his days dragging himself between drinking sessions in the local bar with his friends, an unsatisfying job and an infantile stalking of his ex-wife. One day, he comes across his nephew Zoran, a curious boy of fifteen, born and raised in the mountains along with an aunt that Paolo did not know to have. After her death, Paolo is the only person who can take care of the boy. Thanks to the wise man owner of the Paolo's usual bar, he discovers that Zoran has a bizarre and unexpected gift: he is a real champion in playing darts. This is an opportunity for Paolo to take a revenge against the world. But things do not always develop as we would like them to.
- Peter is the dark brooding type. Leading a vacuous, shapeless life, he longs for the ideal woman, while at the same time, half heartedly continuing with his habitual girlfriend, Marusa , who is considerably older, a fact that Peter is quick to point out. As an ageing actress, struggling for parts in her local theatre, she oozes insecurity and breathes uncertainty. Together, they spend their time in the local restaurant, smoking, drinking and trading verbal blows. "I bet you'll just end up a drunk," she tells Peter each time. Peter just grins and tells her how old she looks. Compounded by a thankless director who soon shows her the door, Marusa finds her identity being squeezed harder and harder against the wall.
