FAQs - booking Colorado flights

  • What are some common layovers on the route from Orlando to Colorado?

Direct flights are frequently available from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to major Colorado airports like Denver International Airport (DEN) and Colorado Springs Airport (COS). However, if you opt for more economical options or flights to other smaller airports within Colorado, you may encounter layovers at hubs like Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) or Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), depending on the airline and the chosen route.

  • Which airlines offer Wi-Fi onboard?

On flights from Orlando to Colorado, airlines including United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Frontier Airlines generally provide Wi-Fi onboard. However, the policy for Wi-Fi—whether it's complimentary or chargeable—differs among these airlines. Southwest usually offers free messaging with the option to pay for full internet access, whereas United and Frontier typically require payment for Wi-Fi usage.

  • How can I make my flight from Orlando to Colorado more sustainable?

To make your journey eco-friendly, consider flying with airlines that have strong commitments to sustainability. For instance, United Airlines has been implementing various environmental initiatives, including using fuel-efficient aircraft and offering carbon offset programs. Opting for direct flights when available can also help reduce carbon emissions. Once in Colorado, consider using public transportation in cities like Denver, renting a hybrid or electric vehicle for exploring, and choosing accommodations with green policies.

  • Can I travel in premium cabin from Orlando to Colorado?

For greater comfort on the longer flight to Colorado, upgrading your seat can make a significant difference. While Southwest Airlines offers upgraded boarding options allowing earlier access to the aircraft for more seating choices, they don't have a traditional 'premium' cabin class. Frontier Airlines, known as a low-cost carrier, offers "Stretch" seating with extra legroom and some additional benefits like priority boarding. However, Frontier's premium options are generally less extensive compared to traditional carriers. United Airlines, on the other hand, offers a more traditional premium experience with options like Economy Plus, providing extra legroom, and in some cases, additional amenities like complimentary drinks or snacks.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Orlando to Colorado?

Flight was on time arrived at the destination 10min early they kept in touch via email

My encounter with the entertainment services provided on board was moderate; the functionality of the Wi-Fi connection was either sluggish or nonoperational, while the display screens were antiquated and suffered from poor visibility. On the positive side, the cabin exuded a sense of expansiveness, and the crew exhibited amiable and accommodating behavior throughout the journey.

They delayed our flight by 45 minutes and then re-updated the departure time back to normal schedule with no notification, email, or app update causing probably 40 people to miss the flight as they left without us.

The walk from baggage claim to the taxi is very difficult for older people I will never fly into JFK again. It is physically challenging

We were told that our flight would be delayed for 90+ minutes because of weather, so we went to get something to eat only to have them randomly start boarding 15 minutes after the announcement, with no warning.

Confusing. Delay updates were out of whack At one point it said my flight was 25 hours. Three gate changes and two delays only to change back to original departure time. Gate announcer and on board flight attendant (Alejandro) making the announcements was impossible to understand due to accent and speed of speech. After beverage service the rear flight attendants sat back there on their phones. No refills no checking in, one sweep through for trash collection. Very impersonal. Bring back Coke products

Delayed departure. Delayed after landing pulling into gate. Delay due to sky bridge malfunction

Business class is great. New airplane, very comfortable, better than some of the major airlines I am used to

great flight. Pilot was communicative, flight attendants were excellent. Really nice experience except my tv didn’t work.

Overall, the flight was better than the flight I took to go to Florida, which had a bunch of problems. The crew is really nice and the plane was new so it had a small problem when we were on the runway, but the flight itself was great. They even made some time back up, which is always a good thing.

The food for long haul was poor compared to Singapore airlines economy. Pasta plain with tomato sauce . Singapore airlines give me Hagen dash small ice cream cup it was great. The choices of dinner course Singapore air also much better The crew mostly friendly. The economy seat are as expected.

The plane was clean. The staff was excellent. The flight attendants were very good. Enjoyable flight. Overall. The seats in the back are too small but, will always be.

Flight was 3 1/2 hour delayed with no credit or meal vouchers

late departure due to some unspecified issue with ventilating the cabin. They got it running but it was FREEZING for the whole flight. I asked for a blanket but they didn't provide one. They could not turn up the heat. it was quite miserable.

Liked that we left on time for each flight. Snacks not the best, but we're okay.

It was fine. The flight attendant appeared to be in a bad mood but everything was fine.

The entertainment would not work. The comfort of the seats leaves something to be desired, pretty uncomfortable.

Pleasant service from the crew. Arrived early. Efficient boarding and deplaning. Great job!

Everything was perfect except the pad at the top of the seat back. It pushes my head forward in a very uncomfortable position and it is not removable.

They had three choices for snacks - but you could only have one - and they ran out of the dark chocolate before they made it all the way down the aisle... Packed flight - limited service.

Deparature was late, which is annoying but the arrival was fine and the baggage came early.

The flight attendants were talking the entire time on the back and I couldn’t even take a nap. Super annoying

3 hour delay on run way, not even a drink offered, staff seemed rude and rushed, felt unwell so asked twice for paracetamol and was told to wait, never got it

Free WiFi and movies were not free - everything required signing up for future billing. Boston bound crew were very courteous and gracious.

a321 seating in business class transcontinental - international not up to snuff, no foot rest, entertainment unexciting

There was a serious delay of almost 2 hrs to departure.. it would have been to be told what caused the delay. Apart from the delay, boarding and the flight itself went smoothly.

Horrible airline! They always got something messed up with their planes. 3 hour delayed made us missed both out flights. Had to wake up early in the morning next morning to get another flight!

PBI to Charlotte was smooth. Charlotte to IAH was an entirely different story though, and I still have not heard back from American on how they’re going to fix it.

WiFi was down so no entertainment and I could not work either. The flight was Very turbulent at the end (the last 20 min felt like an eternity) I appreciated the pilot for getting us there safely. The flight attending in first class was kind and attentive to everyone.

What an idiot at the boarding gate. Even flying First she was mean and unpleasant.

Smooth enough, delay-free and safe. All went as expected,

Not acceptable having both flights delayed and not real reason for .. plus paid for luggage and getting my bag ripped out .. very disappointed.

the seats are the hardest I've ever felt; narrower and less leg space and I am small. I could have bid on a comfier seat but the price would have ended up closer to an economy plus seat on a more reliable airline. Only used this airline because of the timing and non-stop. I was afraid from the get-go I wouldn't get there. Apparently, I was lucky

They lost my luggage on a direct non-stop flight.

Staying with Dallas 4 hour stay ...it's was torture sorry. .. about to say that

Everything is an additional charge. It's bare bones, still at a high cost. Don't plan on flying Spirit again.

To long of a delay and way to long on the plane. I know weather sucks, but I felt the flight crew did the bare minimum.

We had a 3 hour delay then no one could find the baggage carousel. So little inconveniences that took up lots of time. I was also separated from the rest of my family because there was a minor who needed supervision.

Spirit cancelled my flight and wouldn’t rebook us for 3 days had to rent a car and drive from Florida to Virginia to get back home.

Missed our departing flight due to poor baggage drop staff. At the airport with 2 & 1/2 hours to spare and waited in bag check in until 15 minutes prior to gates closing before baggage staff asked us to move to the front of the line. We weren’t the only passengers that missed the flight. Poor organizational operations by Spirit staff. Otherwise , the return trip was fine.

Our flight was canceled for no known reason. We weren’t told until we were checking in at 5:00 am. This was after our last flight with Frontier where we sat on the plane for three hours (not an exaggeration) before we took off because of a mechanical issue. We won’t be flying Frontier again.

Allowed me to chose my seat without extra charge (I purchased full-price ticket) and boarding was in group1. Didn't even serve water.

Stuck in Phoenix for two days, not even a hotel voucher offered.

Every day about it was very different all the boarding pass where all wrong l miss flight no refund all crazy

Frontier is a crappy airline nothing about it is honest

Crew members are very rude and not cooperate with passengers.

They lost my baggage on my connection flight, it’s been 24 hours since I put my claim in and still no update on my bags.

The flight was canceled, then delayed twice, we were moved gates twice. Short staff at the counter and check in. We waited for our flight 9 hours. Will never use Frontier ever again, or Spirit.

Good - Leg spar, cleanliness, and on time performance. Bad - No snacks and entertainment.

The plane was on time. Boarding went fast. Smooth flight and landing. I filled out info for a frontier credit card on the flight from Indy to Orlando and have have heard nothing back. I was supposed to get all these “instant” rewards and have received nothing g.
