Pasturehead is an unoccupied building, presumably once a house now in use as a barn, if indeed in use at all.
It's on grazing land and is passed by a public footpath, now part of a route known as Isaac's Tea Trail.
NY7853 : Window in Ninebanks pele tower I believe that this window was blocked up to avoid 'window tax'. The pele tower had a number of small defensive windows making this an expensive building under the tax of 1696. The owner would have reduced the number of windows to 10 or less. By doing this the tax was halved to 2 shillings (10p). In today's terms that's a saving worth about £170
