Couldn’t find a more tranquil place than here. Daniella and Tony are awesome hosts! Only a short walk to town, yet far enough away to emerce yourself in nature.

Aia, terrassi, restorani ja baariga hostel La Urraca Loca asub Balgue'is. Grillimisvõimalusega majutusasutus asub Maderase vulkaanist 12 km kaugusel. We had an amazing stay at La Urraca Loca. The location on the island is perfect for most activities. The hostel is an oasis of beautiful plants and the rooms are great. Also Daniel is very helpful and attentive. I’ve recommended this hostel to everyone who visits Ometepe since it is probably my favorite on in my two months in Central-America. Also shoutout to the lovely kitten Gnocchi (such a good name.. ;))

Very good location and clean rooms. Good place to relax and be with nature. The owners are very friendly and helpful too. You can rent bikes and book other activities here.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkimise, ühise puhkeruumi ja terrassiga hostel Life is Good asub Moyogalpas, 39 km kaugusel Maderase vulkaanist. Kohapeal on turismiinfo, pakihoid ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel. In the evening time they had candles everywhere and lights. It was so beautiful. They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel on seljakotireisijate hostel ja permakultuurifarm. Külalisi ootavad erinevad külalislahkused, nagu privaatsed toad, ühistoad, telkimisalad ja võrkkiiged. This little Mecca of a hippy village is a must stay for anyone that vibes with eco/alternative culture. I think this is one of the coolest hostels I’ve stayed in. I kept extending my stay because I LOVED the island and I LOVED this place. Tons of delicious vegan food, including vegan pizza on pizza nights. Comfy beds with mosquito nets. There was even a vegan dinner one night with the best vegan food I had in the two months I traveled Latin America (and are only vegan food). The yoga was awesome. They teach a lot on their eco tour, so sign up. This place is a staple of the list of best hostels in Latin America.

Aiaga hostel Cocos asub Moyogalpas. Kohapeal on terrass, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Hosteli igal toal on terrass, kust avaneb vaade mägedele. Good sized room for 8 dollars a night is a bargain. It even had a private bathroom.

Rainbow Caravan Hostel asub Las Pilases, 17 km kaugusel Maderase vulkaanist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja restoran. Majutusasutuses on ühine köök ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

See väike pereettevõte asub Altagraciast vaid 2,5 km kaugusel. Hotelli ümbritseb loodus ning läheduses on Ogo de Agua, Altagracia, Vulcano looduskaitseala ja palju muud. Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

El Pital, Chocolate Paradise asub Balgue'is. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum, terrass ja restoran. Santo Domingo rand on 3 km ja Maderase vulkaan 11 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on baar ja erarand. Beautiful scenery, the cleaning ladies were nice and helpful

Hostal Casa Moreno asub Moyogalpas, 200 meetri kaugusel kesklinnast. Selles kolmetärnihostelis on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Hosteli tubades on riidekapp. Majutusasutusel Hostal Casa Moreno on terrass. Perfect location. A stones throw from the town center with the quietness of back streets. We loved the front porch and helpful staff.
