The house is truly gorgeous and comfy, walking distance to train station and shops. We stayed for one night because our train-fan kid wanted to go to the rail museum. The museum was a bit disapponting this time but the house was a surprise, and the kid enjoyed the experience of walking to the nearby station and taking trains around. Will stay again if we go to the area again in the future.

I flew to Queensland from interstate.
I flew to Queensland from interstate. I got an Airport Shuttle service (www.airportwesttransfers.com.au) to take me from airport to Ipswich, great service and value for money! There is so much to see and experience in Ipswich. My favorite places I visited: Queens Park, Rail Works museum, Art Galery, RSL museum, mural trail, St Mary's church. Lovely shopping at Trottie Becke, The Soul Cauldron and Ulli's New Age Rockz. Yummy food at Thai Viet BBQ Chinese Takeaway (24/30 Limestone) and Essence of Indya (37 Warwick Street), both great value for money. Ipswich is so easy by foot, also good bus service. People in Ipswich are so nice, helpful and genuine. They make the whole stay truly something. Thank you!EwaAustralia - Scored 1010

Ipswich is a very tidy city and has plenty of good restaurants, motels and Rail stations is located in the centre of the town centre. There is a shop for all in the city centre, and very affordable. Best - Workshops Rail Museum, Ipswich Art Gallery, Spark Festival - art on buildings and tour of St. Paul's Anglican which included a performance by the organist. Perhaps more alternatives for dining out are needed.DeborahAustralia

The floor 9 room, 903B was great, it had a great view of the new public square and evening light show and I would recommend it. The lower floor I stayed on, floor 1, I would avoid as there were quite a few moons driving around and it was noisy. the view was also of a train year.GerardAustralia
