Edward Island is an island in Lake Superior, located southwest of the Black Bay Peninsula in Thunder Bay District, Northwestern Ontario. It is located about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from Porphyry Island Provincial Park, about 12 km (7.5 mi) from Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and 16 km (9.9 mi) east of Silver Islet, Ontario. The island is about 42 km (26 mi) kilometres east of the city of Thunder Bay.
The entire 600-hectare (2.3 sq mi) island constitutes the Edward Island Provincial Park or nature reserve.
Prince Edward Island (PEI or P.E.I.; French: Île-du-Prince-Édouard) is a province of Canada consisting of the island of the same name, as well as several much smaller islands.
It is one of the three Maritime Provinces and is the smallest province in both land area and population. It is the only province of Canada to have no land boundary. The island has several informal names: "Garden of the Gulf," referring to the pastoral scenery and lush agricultural lands throughout the province; and "Birthplace of Confederation" or "Cradle of Confederation", referring to the Charlottetown Conference in 1864, although PEI did not join Confederation until 1873, when it became the seventh Canadian province. The backbone of the economy is farming, as it produces 25% of Canada's potatoes. Historically, PEI is one of Canada's older settlements and demographically still reflects older immigration to the country, with Celtic, Anglo Saxon and French last names being overwhelmingly dominant to this day.
The Prince Edward Islands are two small islands in the sub-antarctic Indian Ocean that are part of South Africa. The islands are named Marion Island (named after Marc-Joseph Marion du Fresne) and Prince Edward Island (named after Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn).
The islands in the group have been declared Special Nature Reserves under the South African Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act, No. 57 of 2003, and activities on the islands are therefore restricted to research and conservation management. The only human inhabitants of the islands are the staff of a meteorological and biological research station run by the South African National Antarctic Programme on Marion Island.
The island group is about 955 nmi (1,769 km; 1,099 mi) south-east of Port Elizabeth in mainland South Africa. Marion Island (46°54′45″S 37°44′37″E / 46.91250°S 37.74361°E / -46.91250; 37.74361 (Marion Island)), the larger of the two, is 25.03 km (15.55 mi) long and 16.65 km (10.35 mi) wide with an area of 290 km2 (112 sq mi) and a coastline of some 72 km (45 mi), most of which is high cliffs. The highest point on Marion Island is Mascarin Peak (formerly State President Swart Peak), reaching 1,242 m (4,075 ft) above sea level. Boot Rock is about 150 metres (492 ft) off the northern coast.
Summerside is a Canadian city in Prince County, Prince Edward Island. It is the second largest city in the province and the principal municipality for the western part of the island.
Summerside was officially incorporated as a town on April 1, 1877. It was reincorporated as a city on April 1, 1995 with the amalgamation of the town of Summerside and the neighbouring communities of St. Eleanors, Wilmot and a segment of Sherbrooke.
The population of the town of Summerside in 1991, the last census taken prior to amalgamation, was 13,636 residents.
The largest single employer within the city is the Summerside Tax Centre, a Government of Canada agency which processes among other taxes the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The Slemon Park business park (formerly CFB Summerside) hosts a concentration of several aerospace and transportation companies in former military buildings; Vector Aerospace Engine Services Atlantic (formerly Atlantic Turbines) repairs and overhauls Gas Turbine aircraft engines, Testori Americas produces interiors for aircraft and mass transit surface vehicles, and Honeywell manufactures and repairs parts for aircraft.

Prince Edward is a station of the MTR rapid transit system in Hong Kong. It is located in Northern Mong Kok, Kowloon, under the intersection of Nathan Road and Prince Edward Road West. The station is named after this road. The station's livery is pale purple.
As Prince Edward was primarily designed as a cross-platform interchange between the Kwun Tong and Tsuen Wan lines, although the Kwun Tong Line tracks had already been laid in 1979, the station was not used until the opening of the Tsuen Wan Line on 10 May 1982. During the first week of operation, the station served only as an interchange with no exits to the concourse or street level.
Prince Edward Station and Mong Kok Station are the two closest stations in Hong Kong. They are only about 400 metres apart and the train takes less than one minute to travel from one station to the other.
Prince Edward is an opposite-directional cross-platform interchange station for southbound Kwun Tong Line passengers going towards Tsuen Wan and southbound Tsuen Wan Line passengers going towards Tiu Keng Leng. Mong Kok serves as the cross-platform interchange station for passengers travelling in the same direction.
