Bairsten Prime was an Imperium Mining World that was a source for Duralium ore.[1]
It was left devastated by the effects of the Great Rift and as a result became a Derelict World.[2] By the time of the War of the Spider Bairsten Prime had been ravaged by the forces of Fabius Bile and The Shriven, who were later confronted by a force of Custodes under Shield-Captain Tyvar. This led it to become the site of the 2nd major battle of the War, which ended when all sides withdrew and left the world.[3]
