Episode 18 — Unfinished Business
When a longtime outspoken critic of the Equal Rights Amendment passes away and his wife prepares to take over his Congressional seat, Mac sees the opportunity to amend the Constitution and finally pass the ERA. Meanwhile, she prepares to participate in a previously scheduled “Get Out the Vote” event with Templeton, which turns into more of a presidential debate. On the home front, Rod is approached about doing a story on his relationship with Mac — a Presidential marriage — and it turns out Kelly has a past with the writer. Rebecca continues her relationship with her IM buddy, but they’re each shocked at the other’s identity when they meet in person. And the differences between Mac and Dickie’s beliefs become glaringly apparent.

I loved this series so much that I bought the entire season on dvd as soon as I could. I have been hoping all these years that they would bring it back. Did a made for TV movie ever get made?
We found this series on DVD and loved it, very disappointed that it did not have another season. I’d like to see Pres. Allen put the Speaker in his place, along with “Dickie,” once and for all.
Can someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssseee talk to Mcpherson and Rod to bring back this series. It’s highly educative and out of this world…

I can’t believe it! I’ve just been introduced to this series, have just watched episode 18, left up in the air and now wondering WTF!! I am so disappointed to have got so involved in a series, which I was really enjoying, only to find that it’s been scrapped! Unbelievable! Has the movie production gone ahead or is it the final curtain for Mac?
