Spending slipped for clothing and footwear (-3.9% vs 6.2% in December) and food and beverages (-0.1% vs 0.9%). Meanwhile, consumption rebounded for transport and retail sales and service of motor vehicles (11.6% vs -8.6%) and furniture, furnishings, household equipment and consumables (1.5% vs -0.4%), while it decreased at a softer pace for housing and utilities (-0.2% vs -1.3%).
