Sherry comes from the region of Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa María in Andalusia.
Only wine matured in the region around these cities can call itself sherry.

Vermouth is a fortified wine flavored with aromatic plants and herbs.
The drink originated in France in the 18th century and was inspired by a German fortified wine with wormwood absinthe, a plant called Wermut in German.
Wormwood absinthe is a herb used in the distillation of absinthe.

The must is therefore free of peels, stems and seeds.
Because grape juice contains little to no coloring, the wine will be almost white.
White wine can therefore also be made from black grapes.
