Sarah is an award-winning director and screenwriter with selections in over a hundred festivals and winning several awards for her short films and feature screenplays. She was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and grew up in rural North Carolina. She attended Randleman High School and attended Full Sail University for her Bachelor's in Film and Master's in Creative Writing as well as a second Master's in English and Screenwriting at Southern New Hampshire University.
She has had a rapid creative imagination since she was young which has allowed her to face the traumatic moments in her life. She believes in facing the ugliness and beauty of human experiences and trauma through film.
