Marcelo Pelucio is Brazilian actor, musician, educator and a researcher-artist, member of "Teatro do Instante" a researching group attached to the University of Brasília, Brazil. awarded as best actor for Foguete.
He started acting in 1986 and since then has taken part in more than 30 plays in Brazil and Portugal. Pelucio has played several characters in 60 short movies such as Foguete, Algoritmo, Escola sem Sentido and others. Has also taken part in about 15 feature films such as A Cisterna, Uptake Fear, New Life S.A., The Wheel of Life, I Feel So Much (all Brazilian movies). On TV has taken part in productions such as Felizes para Sempre?, Amor ao Quadrado e Cidade Proibida and Quadradim 061 all from Rede Globo.
He is also a father of four kids. His father, Francisco Pelucio Silva, was an international journalist who worked in several international organizations such as the UN, the Associated Press and at the American Embassy in Brazil. His mother earned her living sewing clothes sometimes at home and sometimes in clothing companies.
