Torrey Wigfield is an actor, singer and writer, known for his work in Ryan Gosling's writer/director debut "Lost River".
Torrey grew up in Northeast Ohio and, as a kid, was a pretty good baseball player (a lefty pitcher and center-fielder). Much to the chagrin of his coach, Torrey left the ball diamond in his sophomore year to try out for the spring musical "Once Upon a Mattress." He has been acting since.
Torrey has over 30 acting credits to his name, mainly showcasing diverse character work in both theatre and film. In his final semester at the University of Michigan, he was seen for commercial and principle film roles with casting out of Detroit.
His performance in "The Citizen" has been seen at film festivals across the United States. Director Sam Kadi, who hails from Syria, was recently interviewed on CNN as "The Citizen" takes an interesting perspective on current tensions in foreign policy and how it affects the individual's pursuit of the American Dream.
