This Korean/Irish actor was born and raised in and around Detroit City.
In his younger years he was constantly getting into fights until his
parents enrolled him into a martial arts academy in hopes to curb his
wild energy. Throughout his martial arts career he has competed and won
numerous martial arts tournaments and would eventually fight in bare
knuckle and in full contact matches in both the professional, and
underground circuits. His love for the martial arts, fast muscle cars, and philosophy were in part inspired by Bruce Lee. The drive for acting took over after seeing "The Crow" Starring Brandon Lee, and would make him a stand out talent at his high school (Romeo High School). After moving to Los Angeles in 2001 Jin was working as much as he could. Unable to afford film school, he took a job at Warner Bros studios where he studied professionals working for years in numerous departments. Possessing a strong mix of quiet intensity
and quick wit, his ability to read into the emotional human
mechanism is rivaled only by his creativity. Years of studying martial
philosophy and various martial arts styles has enabled him to
bring that extra spark to his projects. A quick study under some notable writers, Jin began his
writing career. Known for his unique
writing style and basing scripts on dreams and nightmares, his
experiences have provided raw material for numerous projects and visually arresting screenplays. His tireless efforts to educate himself
in numerous areas of entertainment has made him a very valuable asset in acting, writing, directing, producing, casting, stunts, and
fight choreography while forging a independent entertainment bridge
between the United States and South Korea film markets. Lately Jin has
focused on producing specifically in the action , science fiction,
horror, or any mix of the genres however he manages and creates content for social media influencers, usually in the realm of comedy.
