Abbigail Huynh is a versatile filmmaker and storyteller with a Bachelor's degree in Film from the University of Central Florida. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling narratives, Abbigail has carved a niche in the film industry as a Director, Writer, and Production Designer.
Abbigail began their journey in the industry as an Assistant to the Producer at Scatter Brothers Productions in St. Petersburg, FL, during the summer of 2022. In this role, Abbigail played a crucial part in the creation of the Continuity and Cut List (CCSL) for the feature film "Starring Jerry As Himself," which led to its acquisition by Greenwich Entertainment. Now "Starring Jerry As Himself" has had it's premiere at the IFC Center in New York and is now available for streaming on Apple TV+ as well as Amazon Prime. This experience honed their organizational skills and attention to detail, essential for ensuring the seamless delivery of the CCSL for distribution purposes.
Abbigail's directorial debut, "Impermanence," is a groundbreaking feature film centered around cultural identity, grief and cross-continental relationships with an all Asian-American cast. This debut feature-length film highlights Abbigail's dedication to diverse storytelling and representation in the film industry.
In the fall of 2023, Abbigail further expanded their expertise as a Continuity Editor at Hsubox Productions in New York, NY. Here, they collaborated closely with the production team to maintain continuity throughout the filming process, showcasing their ability to handle complex tasks under tight deadlines.
Currently residing in NY, Abbigail continues to seek opportunities to contribute to the film and television industry.
