- TriviaHis 1986 hit music video for "Addicted to Love" was memorable for its expressionless, slick-haired, identical-looking models who played as his back up band. A similar look was carried on through his videos for "Simply Irresistible" and "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On". But the original concept was later parodied in several other music videos, including Sam Kinison's "Wild Thing", Paula Abdul's "Forever Your Girl" where little girls were shown playing the part, 'Weird Al' Yankovic's "UHF" where the women additionally sported mustaches and glasses, and Shania Twain's "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" which used male models. The models featured in Palmer's original "Addicted to Love" music video were, Patty Kelly (guitar), Julie Pankhurst (keyboard), Mak Gilchrist (bass guitar), Julia Bolino (guitar), and Kathy Davies (drums).
