Featured review
Other than wanting to make a buck (and please no-brain porn industry critics) I'm a bit baffled by the purpose of Bree Mills' successful new porn series titled "Pure Taboo". I watch the content via good old DVD issuance of this material premiered on her subscribers' website, but the overall quality is highly variable.
For every intriguing hit like "Half His Age" she also supplies several one-note, lazybones episodes, epitomized by the two clunkers included in "Right to Refuse".
Title vignette runs over an hour and is both gloomy and unconvincing. Its gimmick is unimaginative, merely casting gruff Dick Chibbles, one of porn's least appealing studs, as a cop who stops a car of four youngsters, pats down the two females, and sends the males off on their way. He takes the girls, one in handcuffs, to his home rather than the station house and after finding methamphetamines in a purse blackmails them into servicing him sexually.
Tiffany Watson and Adria Rae manage to stay in character (mostly) during the endless humping, looking scared and unhappy rather than the ecstasy generally displayed by porn actresses during rape scenes. Chibbles is Mr. One Note, as boring as the episode is overall. A trick ending stumped me, my reward for sticking with over an hour of bad road. The two schlubs let go by Chibbles, likely crew members, go uncredited as usual with a Bree opus.
Supporting program is just as glum, as very young looking jail-bait actress Madison Hart is introduced in the back of a cop car, taken to a Sober House rather than the station house for the unconscious addicted girl to recover.
But since this is a "Pure Taboo" version of a one-act play, she awakes days later to be lectured by the house's manager Alex Legend, sporting a thick Euro accent, and a big thick dick later to be revealed. His b.s. goes on endlessly, attempting to create some credibility to the vignette, but it is predictably just another excuse to have a predatory male take advantage of a poor, bedraggled young woman. That is the recurring element in Bree's narratives for this boy/girl content label, almost diametrically opposed in tone from the positive signals and comparatively light hearted Adult Entertainment of her many girl/girl labels. Hmmm...
As with the main feature, this vignette titled "One Day at a Time" has a trick ending that tries to be a shocker, but let's say that it is a far cry from the genuine shock of the tray containing a plate of cooked rat (which it badly imitates in its reveal) of the Aldrich classic "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?".
