The penultimate one

The second last episode of "Tokyo Ghoul"'s first season in mostly about the war between the CCG (the anti-ghoul task force) and Aogiri Tree (the ghoul terrorist group) with the ghouls of Anteiku café caught in the middle.

Kaneki misses the fracas because he's being held hostage by Yamori, the sadistic ghoul who wears a Jason Voorhees-style hockey mask.

A ghoul investigator I was convinced was a young woman steals their employer's motorbike and uses it to catapult themselves into the fray. Looking at the show's wiki, I was surprised to find it's apparently a man?

The episode ends with a showdown between Touka and her younger brother, Ayato, about to begin.

As I'm about to watch the last episode, I'm thinking this show isn't as good as I'd hoped. It'd been on my list forever. It's still pretty good, but I'm not that impressed.
