Read allIn the collective unconscious, the ideas of femininity and extremism are most often dissociated. This cliché favors the success of women within far right political parties as well as the trivialization of extreme right narratives. Featuring six European female extreme right leaders and prominent scholars, this documentary successfully deconstructs this phenomenon.

It starts good, somewhere it loses it

I liked the theme chosen by the team. I was impressed by the work that went in. And yes, it is very interesting how these far right movements all over Europe mirror each other in spite of quite different historic developments.

The work is neutralized by the chosen experts. A few people living in between the books and theories of the 1950s. They all have the wonderful quality of hindsight. Although this is a feature film the feeling left at the end is the same as with enjoying the talking heads of a marginal TV show.

I would have given it at least 9 stars. But although the story evolves, the documentary is pointless. There is no end. It is worse. Because the authors start the story pointing out they documented the rise of Marine LePen. But the movie only rises questions. And the talking heads make a poor job explaining anything. Sorry. It might have been good. 5 stars for keep up the good part.
