Trivia
Tien and Chiaotzu do not appear in this film, despite being seen on the poster. This was out of respect for Tien's voice actor Hirotaka Suzuoki, who had passed away. In the accompanying manga comic, they both appear in minor roles.

Goofs
Mr. Satan is building a hotel in honor of his defeating Buu, and the press seem to know of Buu's existence. But Shenron erased everyone's memories of Buu following his defeat.

Crazy credits
The intro sequence to the movie is an update of the opening credits of Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone (1989), with updated animation and slight modifications to represent the Z-Fighters and their families and friends in the aftermath of the Buu Saga.

A great way to revive an excellent anime

I had been looking forward for watching this since it was announced,i was amused and surprised when i heard that a new ova was going to go out after 11 years of dragon ball lack,well i can say after watching this that this special didn't disappointed me.It was interesting watching the great old dragon ball with new animation techniques,brighter colors and higher detailed scenarios.

The plot isn't too deep or original,but dragon ball had never been too deep,so i had no problem with that.A bunch of characters from the series appear and there are new ones,that i liked a lot.

The only complaint i have is the duration,i felt it was too short,but i hope this isn't the last dragon ball material we see.

in conclusion if you're a dragon ball fan you should watch this,you won't be disappointed.
