Painting by the numbers is the problem with this Penthouse video for couples. It's haphazardly made but I liked watching the femmes on view.
Framing device is very poorly handled by filmmaker Cash Markman who usually delivers a more interesting package. He has MOS footage of lovely India Summer writing in a diary to generically introduce each of five vignettes, and the voice-over of the entry is in the voice of the actress appearing in the segment, not hers. India never gets down, there is no resolution to her periodic appearances on screen - so the whole "cover story" is just pointless filler. Ordinarily the host or narrator would read letters (Penthouse Letters anyone?) but this transcribing other girls' experiences into her diary makes no sense at all.
This loose approach allows for various sub-genres to be incorporated randomly into the whole. We get an oiler vignette of Tommy Gunn as masseur, rather crudely turning Angelina Ashe's massage into more than she expected.
Dane Cross pops up for the zillionth time as the young, innocent guy seduced by his best friend's mom, sexy Brit Roxanne Hall. Gimmick here is that the son is nearby outside giving a very slight element of danger to the proceedings.
Lesbian action is inserted by having ultra-busty Nikita Von James take on young Jana Jordan by a swimming pool. Busty Tanya James is serviced by hirsute Riko while her hubby's away.
Best and only creative vignette has a '50s setting with Evan Stone in fine form as Eddie the milkman- his sunny disposition both humorous and nostalgic. He services prototypical housewife Holly Sampson, and this final segment points up what's wrong with all the pointless footage preceding it: Evan and Holly are charming, while the others were boring.
