I wish that I can find the actual video to show to kids that I work with trying to save their lives from these gangs and street violence. If they saw me then and compared to now, they will know that my life was not always this good and that I had to change my ways and be a true leader for these youngsters. Yes,I am the guy that was in this documentary in the living room of the set house with the dark shades on, as at the time of production,I had Bells Palsy and one of my eyes were not functioning properly.I was also in the banquet scene towards the end of the documentary. I and David(the main focus of the documentary),to this DAY, talk every day and are still the best of friends. It would be great if the producers, directors and Mrs.Cosby could do a follow up of us guys 21 years later. We have matured and grown beyond what many would probably have expected.I thank Mrs.Cosby for reaching out to us and allow us as young men to express ourselves and to mentor us,care for us and respect us.I am thankful for the Kids for a Change Coalition,Jean Childs-Young Foundation and the King Center for Non Violent Change for caring enough to intervene into our lives. Most of these people have gone on to glory but I just wanted them to know or at least Mrs.Cosby and the producers and everyone involved that this was not in vain, that No Dream Was Deferred thanks to these great people.
