Final appearance of
Lauro Corona in any project - film or TV. He died of complications of AIDS in 1989. He never disclosed his condition but he was sick back when the show was its course and the writers - probably knowing he wouldn't come back - rushed an ending to his character by making him to go to a trip to Israel. Corona does a voice-over reading a poem by Fernando Pessoa as if saying goodbye and leaves on a car. He died a few months later after this last taping.
