I'm not sure why but porno films on the topic of "sex in the office" are frequently made -not a genre but a recurring topic. I can see where the audience responds, but since Adult Industry folk are by definition not 9 to 5-ers the lure of this subject matter is a mystery. Perhaps they like to horse around in those moments when they're back in the office attending to distributor/contact issues rather than working on the set.
Sean Michaels made this early Wicked Pictures title, thankfully preserved as a "Vintage" DVD by the label, and presents a sincerity that i find laudable, even putting on screen an anti-prejudice message to bookend the feature. It's a very simple story line but works well.
Revelation for me was how ultra-sexy Rebecca Bardoux can be, having my image of her based more on her later in career "oldie but goodie" character roles in such videos as "Mother Superior 2". At age 30 here and still new to the business she exudes come hither sex appeal, helping to explain her success in the manner of Inari Vachs -neither of them a typical bombshell or superstar stereotype.
She's the new hire at an accounting firm, run by beautiful Lacy Rose as a tight-knit outfit, but with almost absurdly strict rules as to behavior. For example, employees are not permitted to call each other by their first-names, are restricted to specific, staggered break times and otherwise expected to be extremely prim & proper at all times. Michaels and his scripter Rebecca Allen use this premise to contrast with the inevitable sexual hi-jinks to come.
Bardoux's entry into this community is the disruptive factor, which creates considerable conflict, but over the course of a trim 84-minute running time she wins over everyone to her point-of-view, ultimately resulting in a final orgy scene involving the entire staff. Movie's positive message (positive at least in a porncentric universe) is that acting on one's sexual urges and fighting repression is the loving way to live and even improves productivity. I enjoyed this gambit, though one suspects it will recur in real-life as a false argument for the soon-to- happen widespread use legally of marijuana in our society - perhaps without the productivity gains.
The humping by all concerned is hot, with Janet Jacme as Lacy's secretary impressive and Sean emphasizing interracial sex as part of his tolerance message. Bareback humping, more or less outlawed at Wicked several years later as the label grew to prominence, is the name of the game.
