Riding the Nightmare

"Riding the Nightmare" a "Hitchhiker" episode late in the series I believe from the 1990 season was nothing great yet it was pretty decent it delivered a good moral lesson. Lauren Hutton(70's and 80's film star) portrays a successful business lady who works as a magazine photo editor, yet under it all she's a woman tormented by her constant nightmares and bad dreams. To complicate it all upon her having an affair with a female employee's husband it makes her start to feel some guilt when the co worker announces she's pregnant and she must reveal this to the husband she's having the affair with. The dreams and nightmares deepen as she has a vision of a bad tragedy like her co worker friend losing the baby. Only finally the guilt turns to anger and greed only to corrupt and kill her whole soul and spirit in the end. Not one of the better episodes of the series, but worth a watch for showing that guilt can destroy and haunt you to a tragic end.
