The Deli Models

Mr. Nicholson asks Doris to help out a French fashion designer and his two models.

A good episode. Doris wears a long blonde wig in this one. The designer is played by Johnny Haymer, who would have a much more different role as gruff Sgt. Zale on the TV version of M*A*S*H, he would reunite with McLean Stevenson there. The two models run off and binge themselves on American delicatessen food. They are unable to appear in the fashion show, see the episode to find out why. Doris has to fill in for them. This is the best scene in the show, she looks gorgeous in the fashions and a snippet of the theme song from "Pillow Talk" is heard. I recall one bit from when I saw this when first aired, where Doris gets some fuzz from a hat in her eyes.
