Hi Friends! You know how everyone does the Throwback Thursday on FB? Well I thought that I would start doing a series of Flashback Fridays where I show you guys some projects I've done in the past. In the mix you might see some I've posted about before, prior DT projects or challenges, videos posted on my YouTube Channel and some I just never got around to sharing online. I've also had some new followers since a lot of these were originally posted so I figured they might like to see them as well. So I hope you will all enjoy my Flashback Fridays :)
The projects I'm re-sharing today are some crafty items I made using Washi Tape. These were originally posted as a bonus DT project for Crafting Ireland.
Here's a video that's on my YT channel that shows each item up close...
I have to confess...this last one is my favorite and I still have this displayed in my vintage purple shabby hutch and I can see it when I'm crafting away at my desk. Makes me smile : )
So the purpose of this bonus DT project was to show the readers of Crafting Ireland some different ways to use Washi Tape other than laying it flat on the page.
I hope I was able to show you some fun new ways to use your Washi Tape. If you crafters are like me...I have a ton of this stuff and I really do need to use it more in my crafting.
I hope you like the new Flashback Friday series. Be sure to leave me a comment if you have any questions or if you want to see me feature a prior project.
Happy Crafting : )
Hi Friends! Today I'm sharing 3 different holiday projects featuring some fun ribbon from The Ribbon Shack! I'm on the DT for Crafting Ireland and we were lucky enough to get to play with some of these fun ribbons on some holiday projects. Over on the Crafting Ireland blog you can check out all the projects from the DT and read about a fab GIVEAWAY from Ribbon Shack. They're an Irish ribbon store and they are offering up a generous ribbon giveaway for 5 of the CI readers!!

Here are some quick videos that show you each project up close along with the ribbon I used for each one : )

As you can tell I had a lot of fun playing with these fun ribbons from the Ribbon Shack! I just couldn't stop at one project so I ended up with three..lol.
Be sure to check out the other projects by my DT sista's on the CI blog AND find out how 5 of our lucky readers can win some of this fun ribbon for themselves.
Happy Thanksgiving (to all my US friends) and Happy Crafting : )
Hi Friends! Today I have a project to share with you that's featured over on the Crafting Ireland blog today. I made a Memories Journal for my daughter Kaley. Her 14th birthday is coming up on the 17th so I wanted to not only make her something to celebrate her day but to also give her something that she could use to record memories of her last year in middle school...sniff sniff..where has the time gone!!
If you click on the link above, you'll be able to see the full tutorial on how I created this journal. I also have a video which I'll upload later today on my CHANNEL. But in this post I'll just share the completed project : )
My daughter's school colors are blue and yellow & since it's a memory journal for her last year of 8th grade...that's the color scheme I went with for this project. I made this from an old book cover and used office envelopes and such to create journaling pages, pockets, tags and plenty of space for photos.
I can't wait to give this Kaley and more importantly I'm excited to see her fill this up with memories from her friends.
Thanks for checking out another scrappy post & another DT project for Crafting Ireland.
Happy Crafting!!

Hi Friends! It's a beautiful sunny day here in the Willamette Valley in Oregon so I thought what better project to share than another Spring bucket of flowers.
These were designed & created for the online Crafting Ireland publication as a DT project. These were featured on the Crafting Ireland blog and you can see the tutorial on how I created these HERE. I also had two other projects for Issue 16 that were featured in the online magazine, you can check those out HERE.
I'll also be doing a video on these flowers & I'll add it to this post once I get it uploaded to my YouTube Channel. So the rest of this post will just be some additional photos of this project. I've been a paper flower cuttin girl lately with these flower buckets..lol.
And here's a picture of them on my desk at work...
I've been busy working on some DT projects that I can't share quite yet but keep your eyes out as I'll be sharing them on my personal blog as well as my YouTube channel once they're up on the DT blogs.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out another scrappy post. If you haven't subscribed to my YouTube Channel please do...I've been posting lots of videos over there lately and I'll also be having a giveaway of some sort in the near future.
Happy Crafting!!
