Mosque where Orlando gunman Omar Mateen prayed set ablaze on Eid

FORT PIERCE: The mosque that Orlando nightclub gunman Omar Mateen attended was heavily damaged in an arson fire that Muslim leaders said was the latest incident in an escalating campaign of harassment and violence against the house of worship and its members.

Given the timing ─ Sunday's 15th anniversary of 9/11 and the start of Eidul Azha ─ investigators believe the blaze that broke out shortly before midnight Sunday at the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce may have been a hate crime, St. Lucie County sheriff's spokesman Maj David Thompson said.

No one was injured. The fire burned a 10-by-10-foot hole in the roof at the back of the mosque's main building and blackened its eaves with soot.

A surveillance video from the mosque showed a man on a motorcycle approaching the building with a bottle of liquid and some papers, then leaving when there was a flash and shaking his hand as though he may have burned it, Thompson said.

The arsonist “is terrorising our community because we don't know where he is at and we don't know what he is capable of doing,” said Wilfredo Amr Ruiz, a Florida spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Mateen was killed by police after opening fire at the Pulse nightclub June 12 in a rampage that left 49 victims dead and 53 wounded. He professed allegiance to the militant Islamic State group. His father is among roughly 100 people who attend the mosque.

Ruiz said the mosque and its worshippers have been harassed since the massacre.

“First there were threatening voicemails,” he said. “Then drivers would splash water on the parishioners leaving on Fridays, and then a member got beat up in the parking lot when he came to the mosque for early morning prayers, and now the mosque has been set on fire.”

The mosque has received more threats since the nightclub shooting than it did in its previous 20 years of existence, assistant imam Hamaad Rahman said.

“For this to happen to us on the morning of our biggest celebration of the year has made everyone saddened and scared, but our community is bigger than a building. We are stronger than that,” he said. “I feel we will be able to pull together from this, and as time goes by we will be able to rebuild.”

The FBI and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives joined the investigation into the fire. Sheriff's officials released the video and asked for the public's help in identifying the arsonist.

Ariana Borras stopped by the mosque with her 2-year-old son to pay respects Monday morning.

Borras said she is Hispanic and not a Muslim but is sometimes asked if she is Muslim because of the colour of her skin.

The fire “makes me scared for my son. It makes me scared for my skin color,” she said. “There have been a lot of racial issues going on and there's so much hate in the world right now.”

Michael Parsons, 22, was standing outside his parents' home, directly across the street from the mosque.

He said that since the Orlando shooting, “a lot of people have been driving by hollering and yelling expletives at the church or mosque or whatever they call it.”

Parsons, a gutter installer with “trust no one” tattooed on his chest, said his mother's cancer doctor attends the mosque. “America was founded so people can believe what they want to believe and do what they want to do,” he said. “These guys flying the American flag on their trucks don't really know what the freedom is they're fighting for.”

On July 2, a man was beaten outside the mosque. CAIR said the victim was a Muslim and the attacker hurled slurs. A suspect was arrested. CAIR said that earlier that day, a man in a truck stopped outside the mosque and said, “You Muslims need to get back to your country.”

On Monday morning, a pickup truck with a “Don't Tread on Me” bumper sticker rolled past the mosque.

The driver revved his engine and raised his index finger in the air as if making the gesture for No. 1.

Nice try, CAIR.  What are you going to do now?  Blow up more Americans?

Federal judge rebukes CAIR in 'Muslim Mafia' case

A federal judge in Washington, D.C., ruled Thursday that the Council on American-Islamic Relations – a group founded by the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. – has no legal basis to claim its reputation was damaged by an undercover investigation documenting its ties to global jihad.

As WND reported, CAIR filed suit in 2009 against former federal investigator Dave Gaubatz and his son, Chris Gaubatz, after their findings were published in the WND Books expose, “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America.”

In its lawsuit, which is scheduled to go to trial, CAIR originally alleged it suffered damages after the younger Gaubatz, posing as an intern, obtained access to some 12,000 pages of CAIR internal documents under false pretenses and made recordings of officials and employees without consent.

CAIR, an unindicted co-conspirator in the nation’s largest terror-funding case, complained of the loss of donor revenue and the loss of contact with legislators and policymakers.

But when asked by defendants in the discovery process to identify its donors and name the lawmakers it has contacted, CAIR replied by stating it was no longer claiming damage to its reputation.

U.S. District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly said CAIR’s filing of a motion to reopen discovery so it can depose an expert witness on the economic impact of damages to CAIR’s reputation is “too late in the game.”

Furthermore, she said, CAIR itself has chosen three times not to claim damage to its reputation.

In March, Kollar-Kotelly ordered that the defendants’ motion for summary judgment – which would resolve the case based on the merits – be granted in part and denied in part. In August, she rejected a request by the defendants to reconsider her denial of summary judgment regarding one of the claims and avoid a trial. The claim is that Chris Gaubatz violated the federal and D.C. wiretap acts when he recorded video and audio of his conversations while serving as a CAIR intern.

Attorney Daniel Horowitz, who represents the Gaubatzes, has insisted that “exposing CAIR as a criminal organization does not give them the right to sue for being exposed in that manner.”

“The case is a vendetta by CAIR against people who exposed their Muslim Brotherhood connection,” he told WND after Kollar-Kotelly’s ruling Thursday. “They seem have unlimited foreign money, but we have an unlimited will to resist.”

While WND is not a target of the lawsuit, the news organization has provided the attorneys for Chris and Dave Gaubatz, a co-author of “Muslim Mafia.”

“This legal fight has been dragging on for years,” said Joseph Farah, founder and chief executive officer of WND. “We are only involved in this case to defend the First Amendment, the intrepid and courageous work of one of our authors and to expose CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood tentacles operating with impunity inside the U.S.”

Farah said the “tragic story of this case is that no one else was willing to step forward and pay for the world-class defense team we assembled, including famed First Amendment attorney Martin Garbus of the Pentagon Papers case and Dan Horowitz, one of the most knowledgeable lawyers in the country when it comes to CAIR.”

“This was one of several major victories they have scored in this historic case,” he said.

‘Ample evidence’

“Muslim Mafia” documents CAIR’s support of jihad, recounting its origin as a front group for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, the worldwide movement that has stated its intent to transform the U.S. into a Saudi-style Islamic state.

Horowitz previously told WND a trial will likely be set for next year, and the case will not settle unless CAIR dismisses and pays the Gaubatzes’ attorney’s fees.

WND reported that Republican candidate Dr. Ben Carson has called for an investigation of CAIR, and the White House invited a CAIR executive to a meeting on battling religious discrimination. WND reported in October that CAIR’s problems with the IRS, exposed in “Muslim Mafia,” were noted by Carson.

More than a dozen CAIR leaders have been charged or convicted of terrorism-related crimes.

FBI wiretap evidence from the Holy Land case showed CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad was at an October 1993 meeting of Hamas leaders and activists in Philadelphia. CAIR, according to the evidence, was born out of a need to give a “media twinkle” to the Muslim leaders’ agenda of supporting violent jihad abroad while slowly institutionalizing Islamic law in the U.S.

As WND reported in 2010, a federal judge later determined that the Justice Department provided “ample evidence” to designate CAIR as an unindicted terrorist co-conspirator, affirming the Muslim group has been involved in “a conspiracy to support Hamas.”

Minnesota's Hennepin County (Minneapolis) Sheriff Rich Stanek can officially change his middle name to "Dhimmi" as he has announced a new program where Muslim inmates at the county jail now can wear their head coverings - a new policy that came about for two reasons:


a)  Stanek curled up into a ball and cowered at the threats from the terrorists at CAIR-MN
b)  Stanek is scared to death of pissing off the growing and violent population of Somali Muslims in Hennepin County

Look at this quote from the article from one of the Muslim advocates in Hennepin County:

Look at the quote above again - you know, if you are so desperately in need of your "spirituality" when you land your ass in a jail cell, THEN DON'T DO THE FUCKING CRIME, HAJI !

Great job, Sheriff Stanek.  You have just officially lost all sense of control over the most violent group of people in Minnesota.  I hope you are ready to put a foot bath in every one of Hennepin County's jail cells.

Hennepin County sheriff's office announces new policy for religious head coverings for inmates


Inmates at the Hennepin County jail will be allowed to wear religious head coverings, the Sheriff’s Office said Thursday, making it the first law enforcement agency in Minnesota to adopt such a policy.

Just a few hours after Sheriff Rich Stanek announced the change, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office said it will roll out a similar policy this week.

The new policies were warmly welcomed by representatives of religious and cultural groups.

“This addresses the most fundamental of civil rights,” said Fartun Weli, executive director of Isuroon, a Somali women’s advocacy group. “It’s part of our identity.”

The trauma of an arrest can move a suspect to “seek spiritual relief, but they also have to deal with the shame of not being able to wear a head covering,” Weli said. “This is a big deal to us, but we aren’t saying somebody should receive special treatment because of their religion.”

Although both sheriff’s offices had been considering the changes for nearly a year, a compelling letter from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to Stanek last fall drove home the importance of allowing religious garb in jail, the sheriff said.

In Hennepin County, at least a couple of dozen inmates each year will be affected. When individuals wearing a head covering such as yarmulke, hijab or kufi are booked into jail, they will be taken to a private area where the clothing item will be searched and inventoried. For security reasons, the jail then will provide a replacement.

Procedures are also in place for inmates who didn’t arrive wearing a religious head covering, but want to request one.

One caveat: An inmate can receive a head covering only if he or she isn’t deemed a safety or security threat, Stanek said. If the covering is altered or used for anything other than its intended purpose, it will be taken away.

The new policy also includes booking photos. In Hennepin County, a female inmate wearing a hijab will be allowed to keep it on, but push it back off her face for the photo. In Ramsey County, a nonpublic photo without the covering will be taken for police use and another photo with the covering will be available for public use.

The policy’s genesis

The new policy, which adheres to the constitutional and federal requirements of the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act, followed discussions with CAIR and experts on religion and corrections, Stanek said. His office also reviewed similar policies in California and Illinois.

Before the new policy, the Sheriff’s Office considered head covering requests from inmates case-by-case. The jail currently accommodates inmates with specific religious needs such as adhering to dietary requirements, providing religious literature and organizing religious leaders from a variety of faiths who volunteer in the jail.

Each year, more than 38,000 people are booked into Hennepin County jail and 20,000 into the Ramsey County facility. Inmates usually are struggling with a variety of issues when they land in jail, and not being able to wear a head covering can add to their problems, Weli said.

Weli has seen a jail-issued hijab, which is dark brown and made with a stretchy material. She said she was pleased with it, and that it compared well to one she might buy at a local Somali shopping mall.

Lori Saroya, executive director of CAIR, agreed, then joked she was glad they weren’t the bright orange color typically associated with jail attire.

An influential letter

Saroya said her office has heard complaints of insensitivity over head coverings at jails throughout the state.

The board president,Zead Ramadan, refused to answer a question about whether he would condemn Hamas.

The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) says its vision is “to be a leading advocate for justice and mutual understanding.”[1]

The board president of CAIR-NY, Zead Ramadan, refused to answer a question about whether he would condemn Hamas in December 2011.[2] He has repeatedly bashed the U.S. on Iranian government-controlled television. He made the following comments in his appearances:

“Whenever you think of America, the land of the free, is going to grow up and go beyond it [racism], more intolerant, extremist voices come out.”

“The comments that are being made against Muslims [by Americans] are very eerily echoing the comments that were being made against Jews by Nazis.”[3]

CAIR-NY board member Lamis Deek has expressed support for Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and the elimination of Israel.

In 2009, she spoke at an event for the extremist group, Viva Palestina, and said, “In choosing Hamas, what they [Palestinians] chose was one united Palestinian state on all of the 1948 territories from the north to the very south … And in supporting Palestinian choice, we are saying we support their right to liberation from violent colonialism.”[4]

She views the revolutions in the Arab world as a revolt against American aggression.

She tweeted, “Dear America: read, watch the arab world die for freedom from u.s. proxy-imperialist (colonialist) wrath” and “Arab democracy=US govt hands off.”[5]

Deek tells Muslims not to talk to law enforcement and depicts police as a threat to Muslims. She talks about a “NYPD-CIA-Israeli alliance in NY” that targets innocent Muslims.[6] She also told Muslims, “If they [the FBI] comes to your home, sneak out.”[7]

“It’s very important not to speak to law enforcement of any type, not just FBI agents. We’re talking about the New York Police Department, we’re talking about tax agents, we’re talking about everybody,” she told one audience.

The former Civil Rights Director of CAIR-NY, Cyrus McGoldrick, resigned shortly after being sued by a terrorism expert.[8]

McGoldrick supported the Muslim Brotherhood’s takeover of Egypt and echoed the Islamist group’s propaganda that its opponents are puppets of a Western conspiracy. He tweeted on November 27, 2012,

“Can’t shake the feeling that all this anti-Morsi energy is a last stand by old pro-West/Mubarak/Israel crowd to keep power in the judiciary. No?”

McGoldrick repeatedly endorsed Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel and expressed support for the destruction of Israel: [9]

“Palestine is a land occupied by foreign settlers. They have the right to resist, to defend themselves ‘by any means necessary.’”—November 15, 2012.

McGoldrick frequently attacks the U.S. as an imperialist, warmongering country that oppresses Muslims:

“Obama condemning racism/profiling while continuing imperialist wars on the Muslim world is just sophisticated propaganda.”—July 19, 2013.

He said on Iranian state television the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya against the U.S. consulate was a result of “the straw that broke the camel’s back in terms of Muslims’ patience with American and Western intervention.”

McGoldrick also said that the U.S. needs to consider “how much more weight will we put on the Muslim world? How many more attacks? How many more drone strikes? How many more coups..?”[10]

He also spreads anti-law enforcement sentiment. Here are two examples from December 15, 2012:

“Maybe I listened to too much Dead Prez growing up, but I can’t accept the liberal, ‘ban all guns’ platform. If the cops have ‘em, I want ‘em.”

“Watching and filming the police is one of the few ways we have to defend ourselves. Start a #CopWatch team in your hood!”[11]

I can remember a time when politicians ran away from CAIR meetings and speaking engagements.  That was BEFORE Barack Hussein Obama made it fashionable to kiss JIHADI ASS.

Washington Governor Speaks at Islamist Event


Governor Jay Robert Inslee of Washington spoke at an event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day that was organized by the state chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity.

Inslee spoke for CAIR’s Muslim Lobby Day, where the group focused on three issues: Limiting usage of drones, funding low-income housing and passing the DREAM Act to grant financial aid for students without immigration documents. About 550 people attended the event.

CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism-financing trial; federal prosecutors labeled it as an entity of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee. The Committee was established in secret to advance the agenda of Hamas. The unindicted co-conspirator designation was upheld by a federal judge in 2009 because of “ample” evidence linking CAIR to Hamas.

According to CAIR’s press release, attendees from 35 of the state’s 49 districts attended and educated representatives about “Islamophobia.”

“They will provide information about recent anti-Muslim incidents and will urge their legislators to courageously speak out against Islamophobic rhetoric and hate crimes,” CAIR said.

CAIR and similar Islamist organizations slander their critics as “Islamophobes” in an attempt to discredit them. Moderate Muslims decry how Islamists use this term as a political weapon.

Abdur-Rahman Muhammad, a former member of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood, said he was present in the 1990s when a Brotherhood front decided to use the term for political purposes.

“This loathsome term is nothing more than a thought-terminating cliche conceived in the bowels of Muslim think tanks for the purpose of beating down critics,” says Muhammad.

In the summer of 2013, CAIR-WA waged a successful campaign to have ads posted by the U.S. government on buses removed that promoted a $25 million award for information leading to the neutralization of 16 top terrorists. CAIR said that the ads were offensive since all terrorists are Muslim and mobilized its non-Muslim political allies to have the ads taken down.

In December 2008, CAIR-WA director Arsalan Bukhari told a mosque audience that they should not talk to the FBI because of its alleged persecution of Muslims.

“There’s nothing to gain from talking to law enforcement,” Bukhari said.

Governor Inslee’s legitimizing of CAIR comes shortly after Governor Quinn of Illinois addressed a major Islamist conference. These Islamist organizations use these opportunities to bolster their stature and present themselves as the voice of the Muslim-American community.

Governors Inslee and Quinn and other government officials court these CAIR chapters even as the FBI’s official policy is to shun CAIR as an outreach partner.

It's simple.  Canada has a leader who puts radical Islam in its place.  America has a leader who appeases radical Islam.

Canada's Stephen Harper called CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) out for what they are...terrorists with links to Hamas while America's Barack Hussein Obama invites the likes of CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House.

Canadian PM Blasts CAIR-Canada for Ties to Hamas

CAIR's ties to Hamas are fully documented. That is not slander or libel, as CAIR says. Rather, it is the truth that CAIR wants to disguise.


The Office of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has responded to criticism from the Canadian affiliate of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) by pointing to its “documented ties” to the Hamas terrorist group.

The organization slammed Prime Minister Harper’s inclusion of Rabbi Daniel Korobkin of Beth Avraham Yoseph Congregation in his trip to Israel because he of his complimentary remarks towards two prominent activists critical of Islamists and sharia law. CAIR labeled them “anti-Muslim” bigots.

“We will not take seriously criticism from an organization with documented ties to a terrorist organization such as Hamas,” replied Harper’s communications director, Jason MacDonald.

CAIR was designated an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation, a charity that was shut down for financing Hamas. Federal prosecutors labeled CAIR an “entity” of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s secret Palestine Committee, a body set up to covertly advance the Hamas agenda.

CAIR’s bid to have the label lifted failed. A federal judge ruled in 2009 that the government provided “ample” evidence linking CAIR to the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas network. For example, a 1991 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood memo explicitly identifies CAIR’s predecessor, the Islamic Association for Palestine, as a Brotherhood front.

The FBI officially stopped using CAIR in 2009 as a liaison to the Muslim-American community because of these Hamas links. A September 2013 Justice Department report said the policy’s objective is to “ensure that the FBI is not supporting individuals who support extremist or terrorist ideologies.”

The Canadian branch of CAIR changed its name in July to the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM). Its executive director, Ihsaan Gardee, says that the comment by Harper’s office is “defamatory and libelous.”

CAIR-Canada’s name change does not absolve it of its past. Its name purposely implied it is a branch of CAIR for a good reason: It is a branch of CAIR.

NCCM says, “There was never any operating or funding relationship between CAIR.CAN and CAIR.” Its previous website said, “CAIR-CAN is a fully independent and separate organization from the Washington D.C.-based CAIR, although the two may coordinate on issues of mutual concern.”

This is a game of semantics. All of CAIR’s chapters are registered independently. This is by design. Don’t take my word for it. Look at what one of CAIR’s founders said:

“Registering an organization is easy. I can register 100 organizations in 100 cities in one day,” said CAIR founder Omar Ahmad during a secret 1993 Muslim Brotherhood meeting. It was at this meeting that the need to create CAIR was discussed.

There is plenty of documentation to prove that CAIR-CAN (now NCCM) operates as an organ of CAIR, as collected by the Point De Bascule blog.

There are CAIR-CAN press releases that explicitly identify it as CAIR’s “office in Canada,” as if the name doesn’t make it obvious enough. A 2003 affidavit by the chair of CAIR-CAN states that CAIR “has direct control over the character and quality of all activities of [CAIR-CAN] including the use of its trademark and trade name.”

One of the pioneers of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood network (a network which CAIR is a part of) is Jamal Badawi. He remains on CAIR-CAN’s Board of Directors. The U.S. Muslim Brotherhood lists him as an operative in a 1992 document and he has a history of extremist rhetoric that includes support for Hamas.

It is condescending that CAIR-CAN would think the public is naïve enough to be tricked with a simple name change—but we shouldn’t be surprised. The manipulative use of semantics is a key part of CAIR’s modus operandi.

At the aforementioned 1993 meeting, a Brotherhood leader repeatedly stated, “War is deception.” The participants, including CAIR’s founder, discussed how to shift their language to change perceptions and brainstormed name changes.

A 2007 court filing by federal prosecutors said:

“From its founding by Muslim Brotherhood leaders, CAIR conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists … the conspirators agreed to use deception to conceal from the American public their connections to terrorists.”

These are some of the “documented ties to a terrorist organization such as Hamas” that Canadian Prime Minister Harper’s office was referring to. That is not libel, nor is it slander. It is truth that CAIR wants to disguise.

You know, it should be enough that CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) actively seeks to see that Islam becomes the dominant religion in America and that they wish the destruction of our Constitution and American way of life but now, this Islamic terror group in America is actively seeking to assist terrorists from around the world in attacks on the U.S.  When is enough, enough?

CAIR Tries to Stop Counter-Terror Training Sessions


The Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is furious that law enforcement received training last Friday from three established counter-terrorism experts who vocally criticize CAIR and its parent organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.

The training focused on the connections between Iran, Hezbollah and the drug cartels and was not about Islam or Muslims in general. It was hosted by the Oklahoma legislature’s Counterterrorism Caucus. CAIR, who tried to stop the training program, claimed that the experts chosen had no credibility and are “an anti-Muslim.”

The three experts who presented the training were: Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy in 1987 under the Reagan Administration. Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. “Jerry” Boykin, Deputy Under-Secretary of Defense for Intelligence from 2002 to 2007 under the Bush Administration. Clare Lopez, a former CIA operations officer who was named a member of the Congressional Task Force on National and Homeland Security in 2012.

All three of these experts have biographies that eminently qualify them to present this material. Their credentials cannot be questioned. Yet, CAIR’s Oklahoma chapter is adamant that they lack credibility; an accusation that is a pristine example of hypocrisy.

Let’s not forget that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism-financing trial in U.S. history. The U.S. government listed it as an “entity” of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee, a secret body whose purpose is to support Hamas. In 2009, a federal judge upheld CAIR’s designation as an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror-financing operation due to “ample” evidence provided by the U.S. government.

In 2007, federal prosecutors stated in a court filing, “From its founding by Muslim Brotherhood leaders, CAIR conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists … the conspirators agreed to use deception to conceal from the American public their connections to terrorists.”

The FBI says it no longer uses CAIR as an outreach partner in order to “ensure that the FBI is not supporting individuals who support extremist or terrorist ideologies.”

CAIR-OK’s executive director, Adam Soltani, watched the training from the House gallery. Soltani, who led the fight against the training program by the above experts, was previously the assistant director of outreach for the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City and the coordinator of youth development programs for the Islamic Society of Edmond. The Islamic Society of Edmond’s land is owned by the North American Islamic Trust, another U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity that was labeled an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land trial.

CAIR-OK’s 7th annual fundraising banquet featured Imam Johari Abdul-Malik as its keynote speaker. He is the outreach director for the radical Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Virginia that has extensive ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

In 2001, Abdul-Malik approved of attacks on Israeli infrastructure. On January 26, Dar al-Hijrah’s Imam Shaker Elsayed preached in support of violent jihad at a high school. He is also an open supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yet, Abdul-Malik was the top speaker chosen by Soltani’s CAIR-OK organization for its annual fundraising banquet.

At first glance, it may be surprising to learn that the Oklahoma chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union sided with CAIR on the training issue. ACLU-OK chapter leader Ryain Kiesel criticized the experts as “conspiracy theorists and political opportunists” and said the training “pose[s] a serious risk of prejudice to Oklahoma’s Muslim community.”

However, upon a closer look, given that the ACLU has developed a close relationship with CAIR and its allies, it is not surprising at all.

Under pressure to replace the experts, Rep. John Bennett, chairman of the Counterterrorism Caucus in Oklahoma, refused to budge, saying, “We have no indications there is going to be anything anti-Muslim based on anything other than what CAIR said.”

Not a single media report (that I’m aware of) included the above facts about CAIR. Only the criticisms of the three counter-terrorism experts were included in the coverage.

Yet again, CAIR has proven to be a master of media manipulation.

It almost feels like deja vu, yes?

Report: CAIR Engaged in Money-Laundering to Hide Foreign Donors


CAIR, a shadowy Muslim Brotherhood entity, faces serious allegations that it has violated IRS laws & the Foreign Agent Registration Act.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity that portrays itself as a “moderate” representative of the Muslim-American community, has a complex and probably illegal scheme to hide its foreign financing, according to a blockbuster expose in the Daily Caller.

The revealing of the previously unknown system shows “that CAIR is engaged in a thinly-disguised money laundering operation,” said David Reaboi of the Center for Security Policy. He says that CAIR is violating Internal Revenue Service laws and the Foreign Agent Registration Act.

Ironically, it was CAIR’s own attempts to silence its critics that exposed its shadowy activity. The documents were obtained as a result of CAIR’s lawsuit against the Center for Security Policy and Dave and Chris Gaubatz following the publication of Muslim Mafia. The book is based on data obtained by Chris Gaubatz when he infiltrated CAIR by becoming an intern. He recently talked with the Clarion Project about his experience.

The scheme works like this:

CAIR is registered as a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. The IRS says this is for social welfare organizations and that can include “organizations that engage in substantial lobbying activities.” Donors to this type of non-profit do not have to be disclosed.

In June 2013, CAIR changed its name to Washington Trust Foundation, Inc. Another previous name it used was CAIR-Action Network.

In 2005, CAIR sets up CAIR Foundation, Inc. and it receives its 501(c)(3) non-profit two years later. The IRS says these are charitable organizations that are prohibited from campaign activity. Its donors are disclosed and receive tax deductions.

This second organization did not file the required IRS forms from 2008-2010 and lost its non-profit status in 2011. In 2013, its status was revised and it changed its name to CAIR-Action Network, Inc.

The Daily Caller explains that it is legal for an organization to have two different types of non-profit entities, but they must be strictly separated. In CAIR’s case, they function as one.

To disguise its foreign donors, the financier writes a check to “CAIR” without specifying which entity. The funds are placed in the CAIR/Washington Trust Foundation account so the original source can be hidden.

From there, the money goes to the CAIR Foundation. As explained, donors to this non-profit must be disclosed but the original sources are hidden by routing the donation this way. In a single 5-year period, the CAIR-Action Network transferred $1.8 million to the CAIR Foundation.

To give you an idea of how important foreign financing is to CAIR, consider what the Washington Times discovered in 2007. Its official membership had fallen over 90% since 9/11 and only one percent of its budget came from its less than 1,700 members. Remember that next time that CAIR portrays itself as the legitimate voice of the Muslim-American community.

That means that literally 99% of CAIR’s funding came from only about two dozen donors. CAIR’s local chapters file independently and raise their own funds, but this shows how good CAIR is at using the media to portray itself as a mainstream organization.

CAIR’s hiding of its foreign sponsors also may violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The government summarizes it as:

“a disclosure statute that requires persons acting as agents of foreign principals in a political or quasi-political capacity to make periodic public disclosure of their relationship with the foreign principal, as well as activities, receipts and disbursements in support of those activities.”

CAIR is not registered as a foreign agent, but the Daily Caller reports “CAIR has met and coordinated with foreign principals on at least 35 occasions and engaged in more than 100 political influence operations on behalf of foreign principals in the United States.”

The documents show that CAIR has been given almost $2.8 million in donations from foreign principals, including a $2.1 million mortgage loan for its headquarters. In addition, it has pledges totaling a whopping $54.5 million from foreign principals.

It’s easy to understand why CAIR would hide the identities of some of these foreign principals once you learn who they are.

The government of Qatar, the main state sponsor of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, has given a minimum of $405,000 over five years.

The “Interests Section of Iran” donated an unknown amount in 2008, as mentioned during CAIR’s 14th annual fundraiser.

The now-deceased President of Libya, Muammar Qaddafi, was asked by top CAIR officials to help pay for the distribution of 1 million Qurans in September 2009. CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad even asked him to fund the creation of yet another non-profit to be called the Muslim Peace Foundation.

Qaddafi’s regime was long labeled by the U.S. as a State Sponsor of Terrorism, but was no longer at the time of the meetings.

The Sudanese government, listed as a State Sponsor of Terrorism by the U.S. government, has been approached by top CAIR officials since at least November 2009.

Declassified documents show that on a single trip to Saudi Arabia, the CAIR leadership planned “to solicit $50 million in governmental and non-governmental contributions.”

Various sources in the United Arab Emirates, including its embassy in the U.S., have given over $450,000.

Think about CAIR’s record and where it stands today.

The U.S. government labeled CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator and a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation for financing the Hamas terror organization. Specifically, CAIR was labeled an entity of the Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee, a secret body established to support Hamas.

In 2009, this incriminating label was upheld by a federal judge because of “ample” evidence linking CAIR to Hamas. The FBI has officially severed non-investigative contacts with CAIR because of its links to Hamas.

The planned prosecution of CAIR founder Omar Ahmad was stopped by the Justice Department in 2010. According to Muslim Mafia, at least 15 CAIR officials have been convicted or investigated in terrorism probes.

And now, there is solid evidence that CAIR is involved in money-laundering to disguise its foreign financiers.

When will CAIR finally get shut down?

I'm not sure that the islamic terrorists at CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) wants to position their members as trying to bridge the gap between Americans and Muslims in this way...when one of their members preyed on a 12 year old girl, raping her.

But then again, when the likes of Mohammed spent his nights in bed with a 9 year old girl, I guess it can be rationalized, yes?

CAIR-Washington Member Omar Abdelbadie Arrested for Raping Twelve-Year-Old Girl


Omar Abdelbadie was born in Egypt, but has lived in the United States for the past eight years. He is currently studying Neurobiology at the University of Washington. In his free time, he volunteers with CAIR-Washington, promotes interfaith unity as Vice-President of Bridges (the University of Washington's Interfaith Council), and walks the streets looking for little girls to ply with drugs and take back to his apartment. The only silver lining to this dark cloud of perversion is Abdelbadie's unnamed friend, who called police after realizing that a sex-crime had just been committed. (If this friend happens to be Muslim, I tip my hat to him, for living a far better life than some of his Muslim brothers across the Atlantic have been living.)

Of course, perverts can come from all sorts of backgrounds. The point here, however, is that Muslim preachers keep telling us that Islam is the solution to Western immorality. With so many recent cases of Muslim pedophiles targeting little (non-Muslim) girls, I'd say that Muslim preachers have lost the right to tell us what Islam can do for the West. When a religion glorifies a man who had sex with a nine-year-old girl, allows its adherents to rape female captives, and calls anyone who rejects the religion "the worst of creatures" (Qur'an 98:6), it will never benefit societies with large populations of unbelievers.

Washington—A University of Washington student accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl he picked up in the University District has been charged with child rape.

Currently free after posting bond, UW Senior Omar Abdelbadie is alleged to have plied the girl with marijuana, brought her back to his apartment and had sex with her hours after they met. Abdelbadie, a 22-year-old originally from Bellevue, was described by prosecutors as a threat to community safety, despite his lack of a criminal history.

“The defendant is a danger to children given the circumstances of this crime where he met a 12 year old girl on the street, exposed her to marijuana, and took her to his home, where they had sexual intercourse,” Senior Deputy Prosecutor Carol Spoor said in court papers.

Having left home that evening, the girl ended up in the U District just after midnight on June 10, according to charging papers. She told police she was about to head home – she described the crowd there as “creepy” – when she encountered Abdelbadie.

According to the girl’s account, Abdelbadie approached and struck up a conversation with her, and then asked her to smoke marijuana with him. The girl said she told him her age several times before he brought her back to his apartment, where he had sex with her after claiming she had “seduced” him.

The girl left Abdelbadie’s home the following day. Abdelbadie and a friend are alleged to have walked her home, and watched hiding behind a fence as she walked up to the house.

Abdelbadie’s friend – who met Abdelbadie when signing him up for a children’s charity -- then called 911 after arguing with Abdelbadie about his conduct with a young girl. Officers responded to the area and arrested Abdelbadie.

According to charging papers, Abdelbadie told police he met the girl walking near University Avenue and claimed she was dressed “provocatively.” He is alleged to have admitted he “hooked up” with the girl, but would not say whether he knew her true age. (Continue Reading.)

CAIR Lashes Out at non-Islamist Muslim Group


The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is yet again undermining its own “moderate” credentials by slamming its Muslim rivals (and true moderates) for being part of an “Islamophobia” network and exposing its own Islamist agenda in the meantime.

In its latest newsletter, CAIR promotes -- as the top item -- an article on how its rival, the American Islamic Congress (AIC) is funded by “America’s Islamophobia network.”

CAIR quotes from the article, “Despite its claim to promote tolerance, the AIC has depended on substantial support from the very same elements that fought tooth and nail to sabotage the Islamic Society of Boston …”

As reported by the Clarion Project, the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center has strong Muslim Brotherhood ties and its extremism is well documented. Any moderate Muslim organization should have been fighting against it. A Muslim scholar recently talked with the Clarion Project about the radicalism he saw at the Islamic Society of Boston in 2003 and how he was sued by the mosque for speaking out.

CAIR calls itself “America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group.” The federal government has a different description of the group: An entity of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee and an unindicted co-conspirator in the terrorism-financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation.

CAIR, the “civil liberties group,” chose to attack the American Islamic Congress (AIC). CAIR’s priority wasn’t responding to a hate crime against an innocent Muslim, nor was it taking up the cause of Egyptian-Muslim protesters against the Muslim Brotherhood. Its priority was telling Muslims that the AIC is a traitor.

The article that CAIR is promoting was written by Max Blumenthal, a journalist who speaks at their events and lambasts CAIR’s opponents as “Islamophobes.” The opening of the article provides some insight into CAIR’s motivation.

It recalls how Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick replaced the imam of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center with an AIC official at an interfaith service following the Boston bombings.

There is a wide opening for a group like AIC to compete with CAIR. A 2011 poll found that only 12% of Muslim-American males and 11% of females picked CAIR as the organization that most represents their interests. As I wrote after the poll was published, “only 24 percent of Muslim-American men and 19 percent of Muslim-American women feel represented” by the Muslim Brotherhood legacy groups altogether.

The AIC has offices in Washington D.C., Boston, Egypt, Iraq and Tunisia. According to Guidestar, its 2010 revenue was $1,434,830. This is dwarfed by CAIR’s reported revenue of $4,748,618 for 2011 (and that’s just for its national headquarters and not its allies or individual chapters), but it shows why it fears AIC’s ascent since its founding in 2002: It’s become a force to be reckoned with.

The article tries to paint AIC as part of a pro-Israel network that receives funding from groups that they label as "anti-Muslim” such as the Investigative Project on Terrorism and Middle East Forum. These groups are far from anti-Muslim. They promote anti-Islamist Muslims—and if they were really anti-Muslim, why would they use their money to support a Muslim group?

“A staffer for a major Muslim-American civil rights organization told me that AIC’s leadership refused to participate in any initiative with the organized Muslim American community,” Blumenthal writes.

AIC is organized. Take a look at all the work it is doing. Its Executive Director, Zainab Al-Suwaij, is part of the American Islamic Leadership Coalition, an alliance that often takes the side opposite of CAIR. This quote is an example of one of CAIR’s favorite tactics: Depicting its Muslim critics as outside the community and thus having no influence.

CAIR hopes to create a self-fulfilling prophecy where it stops groups like AIC from having influence by saying they have no influence.

The article notes that the AIC began with only $12,000 and attributes its growth to U.S. government and “Islamophobe” funding prompted by its executive director’s support of the U.S. invasion of Iraq and President Bush’s re-election. Al-Suwaij is an Iraqi Shiite. Her appreciation of the U.S.-led campaign to remove Saddam Hussein shouldn’t be surprising, and it doesn’t make her any less Muslim.

The article laments that the Obama Administration has found reason to continue financing of AIC.

“Built into the original scaffolding of Bush’s imperial project, the AIC emerged unscathed from its dramatic collapse, finding favor in a new era among Obama’s top allies,” it states. By accusing AIC of being part of “Bush’s imperial project” and being a puppet of “anti-Muslim agitators,” the article accuses AIC of oppressing Muslims.

That’s why CAIR is distributing it. There’s an ideological power struggle in the Muslim world— between the moderates and the Islamists, including in the community in America—and CAIR intends to win.

CAIR Misinformation Campaign - Honors Christian Allies


The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is making a point on showing how much it treasures its interfaith defenders. Recent CAIR fundraisers and events have highlighted their partnership, flattering them enough to overlooking its well-documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.

CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in the terrorism-financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation. The federal government specifically identified CAIR as an entity of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee, a secret body set up to advance the Hamas agenda. In 2009, a federal judge ruled in favor of preserving the label, citing the “ample” evidence linking CAIR to Hamas.

The annual banquet for the Oklahoma chapter of CAIR is honoring Reverend William Tabbernee of the Oklahoma Council of Churches with a Building Bridges Award. His group also sponsored the event. The keynote speaker of the event is Imam Johari Abdul-Malik, who endorsed attacks on Israeli infrastructure in 2001. He is the Outreach Director for Dar al-Hijrah, a Virginia mosque with extensive Islamist ties. Its imam, Shaker Elsayed, preached in favor of armed jihad at a Virginia high school in January.

The Cincinnati chapter of CAIR recently completed a series on interfaith dialogue that was hosted by the Transfiguration Spirituality Center in Glendale. Its website says it’s a “religious community for women in the Anglican/Episcopalian tradition.”

The Connecticut chapter of CAIR held a workshop on “Islamophobia” at All Souls Unitarian Church in New London. It was sponsored by the congregation and the Unitarian Universalist Fund for Social Responsibility. If the past is any indication, CAIR taught the 75 people in attendance that its critics are anti-Muslim bigots.

The New York chapter of CAIR honored the Interfaith Center of New York with a Partners of Justice Award at its fundraising banquet. One of the presenters of the award was Zead Ramadan, the CAIR-NY board president. In December 2011, he refused to condemn Hamas. He has also appeared on Iranian state television to complain about America’s treatment of Muslims. Cyrus McGoldrick, who was CAIR-NY’s leader until January 7, has a history of extremist statements that include supporting Hamas and the destruction of Israel.

Other sponsors of the CAIR fundraiser were the Islamic Circle of North America, a group that is listed by the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood in 1991 as one of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.” Another sponsor was the Muslim American Society. Federal prosecutors said in 2008 that it was “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.”

Basim Elkarra, executive director of CAIR-Sacramento, spoke at CAIR-NY’s fundraiser. He has suggested that “Islamophobes” be prosecuted just like Holocaust deniers and he refused to condemn Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist groups in 2007.

Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer gave Elkarra a “certificate of accomplishment” in 2006 and then rescinded it after learning of CAIR’s background.

The Interfaith Center of New York has Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf of “Ground Zero Mosque” fame as a vice chairman of the board. The Executive-Director of the Interfaith Center endorsed a March 13, 2012 letter protesting the NYPD’s showing of the film The Third Jihad to officers, claiming it contains anti-Muslim “misinformation” and is “harmful and offensive.”

The letter was written by a coalition called Shoulder-to-Shoulder that has the President of the Islamic Society of North America as an Executive Committee member. The Third Jihad pointed out that the Islamic Society of North America, like CAIR, is designated as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land trial. And, like CAIR, the U.S. government listed it as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity. It is also the first mentioned in the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s list of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.”

CAIR thanked the Interfaith Center of New York for organizing a joint condemnation of the subway advertisements that dared to say, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.” Its press release listed CAIR-NY board member Zead Ramadan as a contact for the media. The Islamic Society of North America is named as a sponsor, as are two organizations founded by Imam Rauf.

As I documented at the time, the list of organizations signing the Interfaith Center’s letter includes many allies of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entities with a track record of activism against Israel. One even hypocritically posted anti-Israel subway ads before the controversy even started and escaped the ridicule of its co-signers. For these groups, “Islamophobia” is a verbal weapon to use against the opponents of CAIR.

You would think CAIR’s background would repel Christians and Jews looking for Muslim partners. Apparently, for some, the desire to showcase their tolerance takes priority over thoughtful consideration of these facts. After all, applauses feel better than being called an “Islamophobe.”

If you say the Qur'an preaches violence, you're an islamophobe according CAIR. If you make the claim that 90% of the world's terror attacks are committed by Muslims, you're an islamophobe according to CAIR.  If you point out that Muslim clerics daily ask for "death to America", you're an islamophobe according to CAIR.  So when CAIR decided to call Adam Carolla an islamophobe after his appearance on Fox News, well, I guess it's kind of lost its punch now hasn't it?

CAIR attacks Adam Carolla for ‘Islamaphobia’


The Council on American Islamic Relations, a Muslim advocacy organization known for its strong-armed tactics to stifle criticism, took issue Tuesday with comments comedian Adam Carolla made on “The O’Reilly Factor.”

In his appearance Monday, Carolla pointed out that some religions cause more problems than others and that Islamic terrorism is not something to be understood.

“You know, this whole thing of — and it has been going on throughout time, what did we do to offend them? We must have done something to offend these people. Why do they hate us so much? Why are they bullying us up? Perhaps, if we play nice with them, they will stop doing this,” Carolla said, describing the idea of self-doubting appeasement.

“They hate our culture,” he explained. “They hate our way of life. They hate the fact that our women’s boobies get bigger, our cars get longer, our swimming pools get deeper and we’re building skyscrapers and bridges. And Allah is supposed to take care of all this decadence but Allah never does. So they take it upon their hands to do it themselves. And we act like, ‘Well, if just make friends with them, then maybe, they’ll back off.’ They’re not going to back off as long as we’re enjoying our decadent life.”

Tuesday, CAIR National tweeted out The Daily Caller’s article highlighting Carolla’s appearance claiming that it represents Islamophobia.

Later in the day Tuesday, CAIR issued a press release claiming there has been a “wave of of inflammatory anti-Muslim rhetoric following the Boston Marathon bombings and the revelation that the suspects in the case are Muslim.” The group highlighted a series of television appearances and statements in which Islam was painted in a poor light — including statements made by columnist Ann Coulter, Democratic pundit Bob Beckel, New York Republican Rep. Peter King, Carolla and others

“We believe it is a positive sign that the vast majority of Americans have rejected the type of guilt by association advocated by extremist commentators seeking to exploit the tragic events in Boston to further their personal agendas,” CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a statement. “As a nation, we have learned to judge a person based on their actions, not on their faith or ethnicity.”

Oh yeah, the terrorists at CAIR (Council on America-Islamic Relations) are out on the spin trail since the Boston Marathon bombings - the same group which kept their mouths shut and refused to condemn the 9/11 attacks are all out there now supposedly condemning the bombings yesterday but CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper (aka Doug Hooper when he was born a Christian and baptized into the blood of Christ) couldn't resist whining about how unfortunate it is that Muslims are blamed for such as an attack as the Boston one.

Well Ibrahim, if your neighbor's dog comes into your yard 10 days in a row and takes a shit there and on the 11th day you walk out and find a pile of dogshit next to your lawn sprinkler, who exactly would YOU suspect of that mess on your lawn?

We have Muslims of this world who have vowed to destroy America and in fact, CAIR itself has made the claim that Islamic law must rule America one day...so when innocent Americans are slaughtered like they were yesterday the finger will ALWAYS point at Islam and Muslims.....why?  Because Islam and Muslims have promised to do what they did yesterday.  I take people for their word.

American Muslims Condemn Boston Marathon Bombings

American Muslim organizations are strongly condemning the Boston Marathon bombings and urging Americans of all faiths to join them in praying for the victims and their families.

"American Muslims, like Americans of all backgrounds, condemn in the strongest possible terms today's cowardly bomb attack on participants and spectators of the Boston Marathon,” Nihad Awad, National Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), said in a statement obtained by OnIslam.net on Tuesday, April 16.

"We urge people of all faiths to pray for the victims and their loved ones and for the speedy recovery of those injured.

No information is yet available about those behind the attack and their motives.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is also asking American Muslims to offer authorities any leads they may have to help capture the perpetrators of Monday’s blasts.

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper says it’s unfortunate that Muslims are often instantly considered suspects in such attacks.

“ISNA is shocked and saddened to hear about the blasts at the Boston Marathon this afternoon,” the Islamic Society of North America said in a statement obtained by OnIslam.net.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Muslim Peace Coalition USA also condemned the Boston bombings and extended condolences to victims and their families.

Dr. Syed Wasimul Haque, the president of the United Maryland Muslim Council denounced the attacker “which targeted innocent victims of this event which was supposed to forge friendship and brotherhood among participants from different nations and from within our country.”

Prayers and Blood Donations

Muslim leaders have called for prayers and blood donation campaigns for the victims.

“While spiritual measures can serve to comfort those in physical and emotional pain, we also call on Muslims and others in the Boston area to donate blood through the Red Cross as a concrete show of support for the bomb attack victims,” Awad said.

"The Muslims have always stood shoulder to shoulder during perilous times that our nation has faced and will do so in the future as well against all terrorist attacks,” Haque, a Frederick physician, said.

"Our prayers go out for the fallen victims and to the city of Boston. May the families of the victims have the forbearance and may the inflicted recover from their injuries quickly.”

I am concerned CAIR's hateful supremacist rhetoric could lead to possible bias incidents inciting "practicing Muslims" to act in a lawless manner against non-Muslims.

Above the Law of the Land

"If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land" said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth branch of the Council On American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Mustafa Carroll's incendiary quote was meant to incite lawless action from his target audience of "practicing Muslims."

We urge Americans to speak out against this latest form of irrational anti-Americanism, hate mongering, incitement, and for CAIR to publicly reaffirm respect for the law of the land and tolerance for all.

Overview

This article will show how CAIR Dallas-Fort Worth executive director Mustafa Carroll's quote is subversive and in violation of their coveted 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax exempt status and is illegal under United States Code. CAIR has shown a pattern of similar statements from Omar Ahmad and Ibrahim Hooper advocating for Rebellion or Insurrection under United States Code.

Mustafa Carroll is 100% Right

Mr. Carroll made his subversive "...we are above the law of the land" call to action at the Texas Muslim Capitol Day on January 31, 2013. According to Islamic doctrine and theology Mustafa Carroll is 100 percent in accordance with Islamic Law. Islamic Law teaches the Qur'an is the exact word of Allah down to the last letter and supersedes all man made laws including our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Mr. Carroll should be applauded for his honesty and then harshly punished for his subversive speech against the United States of America.

Mustafa Carroll is the Executive Director of a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) Civil Rights Organization so his words spoken in public carry considerable weight, especially when spoken on the steps of Texas State Capitol where man made laws are written and enacted.

Accurate Image of Islam in America

CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter website says it, "is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-deductible grassroots advocacy and civil right organization. CAIR was established to promote a accurate image of Islam and Muslims in America. We believe that misrepresentations of Islam today are most often the result of ignorance on the part of non-Muslims and reluctance on the part of Muslims to clearly articulate our beliefs...we strive to maintain the highest ethical standards in all of our endeavors. In our work towards portraying an accurate image of Islam in America..."

John Griffing wrote a good article documenting the serial lawlessness and arrests of CAIR principles over the years plus a live uncut video of Mustafa Carroll and others on the steps of Texas State Capitol.

I believe Mustafa Carroll chose his words carefully and articulated his view of an "accurate image of Islam in America", when he stated, "If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land." Mr. Carroll believes he is above the law and better than everyone else.

Omar Ahmad & Ibrahim Hooper Are Above The Law Too

Mustafa Carroll's subversive quote mirrors CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad when he was quoted by Lisa Gardiner saying, "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant, he said. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

Mustafa Carroll's subversive quote also mirrors CAIR National spokesman Ibrahim Hooper, who indicated in a 1993 interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune he wants to see the U.S. become a Muslim country. Ibrahim Hooper said, " I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future," Hooper told the paper. "But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education."

The public admissions above from CAIR's leadership confirms Mustafa Carroll, Omar Ahmad, and Ibrahim Hooper are "portraying an accurate image of Islam in America" as per the CAIR mission statement. Why else then would all three men have made such eerily similar supremacist political statements at different times and places.

In law enforcement circles they call three similar statements from three different individuals in the same organization, a clue, they are telling the truth about their intentions of being above or replacing our Rule of Law.

Red Flags - CAIR's Long Train Of Abuses

When any group or individual states or implies publicly they are above the law red flags immediately pop up because we are a nation of man made laws.

CAIR has a long train of abuses not following our man made laws and it is ponderous how they are still allowed to operate. CAIR temporarily lost their 501c3 status, have been charged with violating the civil rights of their Muslim clients, have been labeled as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation and Development terrorist Funding trial, have had several leaders arrested on terrorism charges, and the FBI severed ties with CAIR in 2008 for their ties to supporting terrorists.

When CAIR displays such a pattern of lawlessness from Mustafa Carroll, Ibrahim Hooper, and Omar Ahmad, this above the law mentality would appear to be systemic throughout the organization and our man made laws have a word for that.

Rebellion or Insurrection

United States Code, Title 18, Part 1 Chapter 115, section 2383 states, "Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

Call To Action

We demand the FBI open an investigation into Mustafa Carroll's violation of United States Code and press charges immediately against Mr. Carroll for attempting to incite all practicing Muslims to rebel against the laws of these United States of America.

The United West calls for the removal of Mustafa Carroll, Executive Director of CAIR Dallas-Ft. Worth chapter for publicly inciting all "practicing Muslims" to believe "they are above the law of the land" and not subject to the same laws everyone else must follow. Mr. Carroll and CAIR are clearly out of touch with mainstream American values, the rule of law, United States Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

CAIR and Mustafa Carroll's activities on the steps of the Texas State Capital are also incompatible with charity and social welfare. Rev. Rul. 75-384, putting their 501(c)(3) status in jeopardy.

Adding insult to injury is Mustafa Carroll's CAIR Annual Banquet Dinner on April 20, 2013, titled "Upholding our Constitution" CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad will be speaking at the dinner, when he should be removing Mustafa Carroll from his Executive Director post and apologizing to the American people.

Conclusion

Mustafa Carroll, Ibrahim Hooper, Omar Ahmad, and Nihad Awad are individuals who hold a closed-minded view of America by promoting prejudice against or hatred of non-Muslims who believe our man made laws are the supreme law of the land (Article 6 U.S. Constitution).

America is a nation of laws, not of men or women. In America, no one is above the law and no one is below it.

President Barack Hussein Obama said, "Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstone of this presidency." President Obama can prove he was telling the truth by instructing the DOJ and FBI to open an investigation into this matter, showing the American people that CAIR and Mustafa Carroll are not above the law of the land.
