- أوجستامنيكا أي المنسوبة إلى القيصر، وهي تقسيم إداري شمل على ما يلي فرع دمياط شرقاً، وكانت مقاطعة رومانية في مصر أُنشئت خلال القرن الخامس وكانت جزءًا من أبرشية المشرق في البداية ثم أصبحت جزءا من أبرشية مصر حتى الفتح الإسلامي لمصر عام 640 ميلادية. بعض الكراسي الأسقفية القديمة للمقاطعة مدرجة في قائمة الكنيسة الكاثوليكية للكراسي الشرفية. - Augustamnica (griechisch Αὐγουσταμνική) war eine römische Provinz in Ägypten. Sie entstand aus einem Teil der alten, unter Diokletian eingerichteten Provinz Aegyptus Herculea und wurde im 4. Jahrhundert geschaffen. Sie umfasste das östliche Nildelta und gehörte zunächst zur Dioecesis Orientis, später zur Dioecesis Aegypti. - L'Augustamnica (greco: Αὐγουσταμνική) era una provincia del tardo Impero romano, posta ad est del delta del Nilo con capitale Pelusium. La provincia fu creata da Diocleziano, che la chiamò Aegyptus Herculia in onore del suo collega Massimiano, detto appunto Erculeo; successivamente il nome fu cambiato in 'Augustamnica' per eliminare riferimenti al culto pagano. Inizialmente faceva parte della diocesi romana dell'Oriente, ma successivamente fu separata per formare la diocesi di Egitto (380 circa). Fu poi ulteriormente divisa in due province, l'Augustamnica Prima (Augustamnica I) e l'Augustamnica Secunda (Augustamnica II), all'inizio del VI secolo. Esistette probabilmente fino all'invasione musulmana (anni 630). (it)
