Phase structure of complete asymptotically free SU($N_c$) theories with quarks and scalar quarks / Hansen, Frederik F. (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Janowski, Tadeusz (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Langæble, Kasper (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Mann, Robert B. (Waterloo U.) ; Sannino, Francesco (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; CERN ; U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS) ; Steele, Tom G. (Saskatchewan U.) ; Wang, Zhi-Wei (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; Waterloo U.)
We determine the phase diagram of complete asymptotically free SU($N_c$) gauge theories featuring $N_s$ complex scalars and $N_f$ Dirac quarks transforming according to the fundamental representation of the gauge group. The analysis is performed at the maximum known order in perturbation theory. [...]

Asymptotically Safe Standard Model via Vector-Like Fermions / Mann, Robert (Orsay) ; Meffe, Julia (Waterloo U. ; Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Sannino, Francesco (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS ; CERN) ; Steele, Tom (Saskatchewan U.) ; Wang, Zhi-Wei (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; Waterloo U.) ; Zhang, Chen (Toronto U.)
We construct asymptotically safe extensions of the Standard Model by adding gauged vector-like fermions. Using large number-of-flavour techniques we argue that all gauge couplings, including the hypercharge and, under certain conditions, the Higgs coupling can achieve an interacting ultraviolet fixed point..

Uncovering new strong dynamics via topological interactions at the 100 TeV collider / Molinaro, Emiliano (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Sannino, Francesco (CERN ; Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS) ; Thomsen, Anders Eller (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Vignaroli, Natascia (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins)
In models of composite Higgs dynamics new composite pseudoscalars can interact with the Higgs and electroweak gauge bosons via anomalous interactions, stemming from the topological sector of the underlying theory. We show that a future 100 TeV proton-proton collider (FCC-pp) will be able to test this important sector and thus shed light on the strong dynamics which generates the Higgs and other composite states. Minimal Fundamental Partial Compositeness / Cacciapaglia, Giacomo (Lyon, IPN) ; Gertov, Helene (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Sannino, Francesco (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS ; CERN) ; Thomsen, Anders Eller (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins)
Building upon the fundamental partial compositeness framework we provide consistent and complete composite extensions of the standard model. These are used to determine the effective operators emerging at the electroweak scale in terms of the standard model fields upon consistently integrating out the heavy composite dynamics. [...]

We use one-flavour QCD ($N_c=3$) as a proxy to understand $\mathcal{N}=1$ SYM. For our simulations, we use tree-level improved Wilson fermions and Symanzik improved gauge action. [...]

Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model with Wilson fermions / Rantaharju, Jarno (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; U. We present a lattice study of a Nambu Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model using Wilson fermions. Four fermion interactions are a natural part of several extensions of the Standard Model, appearing as a low energy description of a more fundamental theory. [...]

Composite Higgs Dynamics on the Lattice / Pica, Claudio (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS) ; Drach, Vincent (CERN) ; Hansen, Martin (U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS ; Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Sannino, Francesco (U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS ; Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins)
We investigate the spectrum of the SU(2) gauge theory with $N_f$ = 2 flavors of fermions in the fundamental representation, in the continuum, using lattice simulations. This model provides a minimal template which has been used for different strongly coupled extensions of the Standard Model ranging from composite (Goldstone) Higgs models to intriguing types of dark matter candidates, such as the SIMPs. Framework for an asymptotically safe Standard Model via dynamical breaking / Abel, Steven (CERN ; Durham U., IPPP) ; Sannino, Francesco (CERN ; Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS)
We present a consistent embedding of the matter and gauge content of the Standard Model into an underlying asymptotically-safe theory, that has a well-determined in- teracting UV fixed point in the large colour/flavour limit. The scales of symmetry breaking are determined by two mass-squared parameters with the breaking of elec- troweak symmetry being driven radiatively. [...]

LapH interpolating fields with open boundary conditions / Della Morte, Michele (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Francesconi, Olmo (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Tsang, Justus Tobias (CERN)
The stochastic Laplacian Heaviside (LapH) method has proven to be successful in hadronic calculations. In this work, with charm-light spectroscopy in mind, we set up and optimise the LapH procedure limiting ourselves to the evaluation of two-point mesonic correlation functions. [...]

We investigate the continuum spectrum of the SU(2) gauge theory with $N_f=2$ flavours of fermions in the fundamental representation. This model provides a minimal template which is ideal for a wide class of Standard Model extensions featuring novel strong dynamics that range from composite (Goldstone) Higgs theories to several intriguing types of dark matter candidates, such as the SIMPs.
