Handmade Burlap Ornament Gift Set

Hello again friends, it's time for the monthly Samantha Walker
Creative Team Blog Hop and the theme this month is Homemade Holiday Gift Ideas.

I always love making ornaments as gifts, one year I created a full
set of cupcake ornaments, and I usually do an exchange as well. This year
I decided to make some vintage style burlap ornaments using the
Take heavy duty overstock paper I used metallic paper.
"Ungroup" tags and choose style you want with open area in the middle.
Trim out 2 of each.
Using the middle cuts you will throw out or save, use as template
and cut burlap slightly larger to fit into frame.
Adhere both sides of tags to each other with burlap in the center.
Add snowflake or flowers, then add gemstones to each side.
You can use leftover burlap strands to hang ornaments,
I folded it over 4 times and tied it.
I also hot glued a burlap bow to the bottom.
They have a very soft vintage style perfect for any tree really.

The nest stop on the blog hop is Diane:

This month the  hop the prize will be the $10 gift card to digiplayground.com.

They will announce the Blog Hop Winner on Monday, 12/15 on Samantha's Facebook Page.

Handmade Snowflake Ornaments **TUTORIAL**

Hey there crafty friends,
I have a project up on the CutCardStock blog today and
I wanted to share a step by step tutorial on how to make it!
Today I will let the photos do the talking!!!!
With Silhouette Cameo or whatever machine you might have,
trim out 4- 3-4" snowflakes per ornament.
I used CutCardStock Pop Tones Berrylicious Cardstock.
Using bone folder- fold down middle.
Run all snowflakes through Xyron machine.
Cut length of ribbon I used 10". Fold over top to created hanging loop.
Stick snowflakes together pressing ribbon in the middle.
Knot the bottom of the ribbon.
Thread crystals through and tie above knot.
Cover knot using same ribbon and creating a bow.
Cover edges with glitter.
That's it!
Easy and beautiful right?! I love these!

I hope you enjoyed today's crafty idea!
Until next time- Keep on creating!

Products Used:
Silhouette Cameo, Clearsnap glitter
 CutCardStock cardstock.

**Prizes** Christmas Ornament Tutorial W/ Xyron & Maya Road

Good morning friends, welcome to the
Xyron & Maya Road Blog SWAP.
PLENTY of prizes to be had so be sure to hop along!
I have these handmade ornaments to share today using some
of my favorite products. They would make a wonderful gift- especially
for those of us on a tight budget.

Using CutCardStock and Spellbinders dies- cut and emboss 2 of each die for
every ONE ornament. (Want to make sure they are double sided!).
Run embossed die cut through  Xyron 3" Sticker Maker.
Press 2 of the dies together creating a double sided die cut.
Using Maya Road Chipboard Snowflakes- run them through the
Xyron 1.5" Create-A-Sticker rub well and peel.
Coat adhesive side with Fairydust Glitter.
Shake off excess.
Use Xyron 3/16 High Tack Adhesive Dots to adhere snowflakes to ornament.
Make sure to place snowflake on both sides! :)
Using embossing pad and gold embossing powder-
heat emboss sides of each ornament.
Allt he way around edges.
I also embossed the Maya Road Cord just to add some coordination.
And now I have beautiful and very detailed ornaments.
I hope you visit all the blogs and the Xyron blog for
more info on the prizes!
Have a great Tuesday friends!!!

~**Prizes**Christmas Ornament Sun Catcher- All Things Altered Blog Hop~

Good morning and welcome to the last stop on the
All Things Altered Winter Blog Hop.

My project is a versatile project- it could be a long ornament
OR a winter window sun-catcher! :)
I took a Clear Scraps Tree mini album, I coated the edges in Piccolo
Enamel powder and heat set it. Creating a little bit of crinkling on the trees.
Then I used Clearsnap glitter to create a snowy feel.
After that I punched holes in the button and threaded them with gold ribbon.
And placed the Momenta Metals snowflakes on each side.
(This is two sided)
Then I threaded a Connie Crystal sun-catcher at the bottom.
I love the end project, I am so making more this week!
There are plenty of prizes along the way you do not want to miss any of this hop!

Since I am the LAST chickita on the blog hop you can go
back to the beginning right here
