Yesterday was the toughest day. I turned to my spirit guides and guardian angels for guidance through my tarot cards. I did my card reading for the day and I picked up The Magician.

Tarot Cards: The Minor Arcana
I shared with the other day how the major arcana symbolizes the universal themes of our life. This time, I'm going to share with what the rest of the Tarot, composed of 56 cards called the minor arcana is really all about.
Just like what its name suggests, the minor arcana of a Tarot deck, when drawn during a reading, tells something about the little things in our life --- our concerns, emotions, activities... all those mundane stuff that make up the every day drama of our existence.
The 56 cards of the minor arcana are divided into four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. Let me discuss the importance of each...

Tarot Cards: The Major Arcana
A standard deck of tarot cards consists of 78 cards divided into two classifications or sections: the major arcana and the minor arcana.
The word arcana is plural for the word arcanum which means "profound secret". According to the alchemists of the Middle Ages, the arcanum was the secret of nature. Therefore, the tarot cards are actually a collection of the secrets of our universe.
