A balancing act...

This week over at MilkCoffee Stamps we are showcasing the circus fun images available in the shop!  Here is my DT make...

I used Circus Acrobat with Plates - isn't she fab?  I used My Minds Eye Fine and Dandy papers along with a sentiment from the Whimsy Party Mini Letter Seals set that I used with MFT Die-Namics - 1/4" Rosette Die.  The bunting is the new C.C. Cutters Mini Banners (which isn't available yet!) which I stuck on some punched stars with flat backed pearls.

Check out more circus fun over at the blog here!  See you later with my Little Miss Muffet DT post!

Little Miss Muffet new release!

There's a new Little Miss Muffet new release and you won't wanna miss seeing this new range of faeries over on the blog here!  Here is my DT make using Eglantine Faerie...

Isn't she beautiful?  And I love that beautiful cat too!   I just had to go organic with this so I used MFT Die-Namics Vine Border.  I stamped her on my fave Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured with my Copics.  I used the Whimsy Shapeology ticket die and the sentiment is from the Whimsy Friendship Ticket Sentiments Set.

I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 165...

Hi everyone and a happy Saturday to you! I'm here today with a card using gorgeous Quixotic Paperie goodies for a guy - either a birthday or a congrats one, can't make up my mind which way it's going to go yet!

Yeah, I went a bit crazy with the stars on this one - I only meant to put five or six on, but it kept building up!  I like it though, it really POPS!  I've used more of the brilliant My Favorite Things Dies-Namics in store - here's what I used...

And I love that sentiment - it's from the Whimsy Party Mini Letter Seals set and the papers are from the My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing Bluebell paper pad.  I used this week's fab My Favorite Things sketch.

Before I go, just wanted to remind you that there are bargains to be had in store - Belles 'n Whistles and Victoria Case for SCACD are both currently 40% off!

Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you on my blog rounds later!

Yes, I am thankful to YOU!  My blog mates who come and visit me and leave me lovely comments!  I'm also thankful for a very happy home life - my hubby, my dogs, my family, my friends - and even my work life!  Yes, I'm a very thankful lady!

But I also have to say a big SORRY to you too - it has been a manic week at work and I haven't managed to do my daily blogging!  I really miss seeing your creations and hope to be back on track on Friday - please bear with me!

Anyhoow, back to why I'm here!  There is a new Take the Pixie challenge with the theme of 'Thank You' so I made a card for a wonderful friend using Best Friends Forever...

I matched them up with the gorgeous My Minds Eye Everyday Flair (ffrom Quixotic Paperie here) and the sentiment is from the Whimsey Sentiments Collection (here) with the matching ticket die (here).

You can see more lovely DT inspiration over at the Take the Pixie blog - you'll be "thankful" that you did!  And before I go, there's a Black Friday sale right through the weekend so get your pixie cuties here!

Seasonal wishes for a sweet friend

Hello everyone! Hope your week has been good and now looking forward to a super weekend! Today I'm getting into the Christmas spirit as it's less than 8 weeks away to the special day! My make using some sweet Quixotic Paperie goodies is a Christmas card for a very good friend...

First up is the stamp - this is Winter Fairy by Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps that I matched up with My Minds Eye papers from the 12 Days of Christmas pad. To finish it off, I created the snowflakes using the Marianne D Creatables dies from the Swedish Ice Star set, topped off with buttons (you can get the fab value Big Button Pack for just £5.99 here) with Cherry Red Divine Twine.

Have you seen the new Elizabeth Bell The Peekers #2 release for SCACD yet?  They are as sweet as all of her releases this year!  For my Quixotic Inspirations make today, I have used this little cutie...

This is Mama's Purse - obviously looking for cash for crafty stash!  I matched her up with BasicGrey Green At Heart papers and a sentiment from Whimsy's Ticket Sentiments Set, die cut with the matching Whimsy Shapeology Ticket die.  And take a closer look at the flowers...

Don't you think the darker ones look like suede?!  I think they are fab!  I used the uber easy to use Marianne D Creatables Chinese Rose dies made with Tim Holtz Grunge Paper, coloured with Distress Stains finished off with pearl beads.
