Mitindo (au fasheni kutoka Kiingereza fashion) ni njia ya mtu, kundi au jamii kufanya au kuwasilisha jambo kwa namna maalumu. Kwa mfano kufanya jambo harakaharaka, polepole, kwa taratibu fulanifulani na kadhalika. Halafu hiyo namna maalumu inaenea katika jamii, hasa upande wa mavazi. Mitindo inabadilikabadilika kadiri ya mahali na nyakati.[1][2][3]

Kuna watu maalumu ambao wanabuni mitindo mipya, wanaionyesha na kuisambaza, mara nyingi kwa faida kubwa kiuchumi.

Kutokana na utandawazi, siku hizi mitindo inaenea duniani kote, hasa kutoka nchi tajiri kwenda nchi maskini, na pengine inaharibu maadili na utamaduni.
