Tresemme Smooth and Silky Touchable Softness

Hi guys! It's already the second month of 2014 and we just finished celebrating the Chinese New Year! Here's my first Feb post and I would like to share with you my experience with Tresemme now in full product and not just via sample only.

I have actually finished this product already, I got this at S&R last year and it was on sale! Yippe!

Even if it's on sale, I still checked what hair problem does it answer cause I don't want to buy something that I won't use anyway even if it's on sale.

Now let's try how did this variant work! Tresemme with their tagline Salon hair. So let's put this to test.

Here's the look of the actual shampoo. It looks so pearly!

What I like about the product:
  • It was on sale when I got it!
  • A lot of product since it's 1.3L
  • With pump, easy to get the product
  • Nice smell, not so strong, just right
  • It really helped me to have manageable hair
  • My hair was soft and not that frizzy
  • Since it's only a shampoo, of course I needed to pair it with a conditioner once in a while
  • Overall, this is a good shampoo
  • I just hope they'll have it in 2 in 1 product for women on the go
What I didn't like bout the product:
  • Just got this at S&R, might not be available on my next visit

Will I repurchase?
If it is still available, I will repurchase specially if it's on sale again. :)

Syoss Anti-Dandruff Conditioner

Let's now go to hair care, my first hair care post for 2014. I was using a certain shampoo for several months already (I'll talk more about it on a separate post) so I need a conditioner that will give my hair the conditioning that I need. On the search for a conditioner, it was time to try something new and I've seen Syoss for quite sometime already and decided to get it.

Syoss has several variants but I decided to get this variant since I based it on the smell and not about the condition of my hair. :) haha

I won't talk a lot about the product and just go straight to my experience.
  • The actual conditioner has a very think consistency
  • The smell is ok, light clean and fragrant smell
  • While getting some conditioner, I noticed that I find the bottle a little light for the size and found out that it's not full
  • The actual product is only 3/4 of the bottle
  • When applied on the hair I noticed that I need to apply a lot of product to achieve my desired conditioning
  • After rinsing I felt that my hair was not that soft unlike the other conditioners
  • My hair didn't become soft after using this product :(

Here's my hair after using the product, it's bagsak and somehow manageable but didn't felt the conditioning and soft effect.

* I just don't know if it's because of the anti-dandruff property.

Tresemme

Here's a very short post with my Tresemee experience. Since it's launch here in the Philippines, I really wanted to try it as it promises Salon hair everyday! Who in the world wouldn't want that right??? But when I was about to buy, they don't have it in smaller sizes. I am a person who doesn't really want to buy big sizes of hair care if I haven't tried it yet. But then after some time I got their sample size at Robinson's Magnolia. I was so happy that I will finally try it with out getting the big size yet.

So I finally tried it the shampoo yesterday and the conditioner today. I was impressed with the shampoo, it really made my hair soft and silky.. parang Salon hair talaga. Remember that I have my hair permed, I didn't even put any hair cream yesterday since I really wanted to know the result of Tresemee and it didn't fail me. My office mate also agreed that my hair looked better yesterday. Additional plus factor is that it smelled really really good but in a light way. It's not irritating!

Going on to the conditioner, it just have a weird smell (like a salon smell). But after a while, it goes off. It soften my hair but I liked the shampoo better! I think I will buy the shampoo and I am excited to use it everyday.

I hope that they could release smaller sizes so many Filipnas could get to try Tresemee, as they said Salon hair everyday for Filipinas. It's a good thing that part of their Marketing strategy is to sample since it worked for me. They convinced me to get Tresemee via trial.

Have you tried Tresemme?? What do you think?

Don't have photos to share since with my permed hair, you won't see the result that I am describing. I just want to share my experience about it. :)

Dove Hair Therapy

We all know that Dove recently added a new line in their product portfolio and they have been promoting it non-stop! Their TV ad was all over especially during its launch period and of course their intensive sampling. I even got samples from yogurt and milk tea chains! During my latest out of the country trip, Dove Hair Therapy was also been extensively promoted.

Dove Hair Therapy! When I first saw their TV commercial I got intrigued and wanted to try it. Good thing that they have been providing samples for people to initially try it. For this post, I want to share with you if I would buy the product base on the samples I will try.

Great presentation! They were able to present the whole line and description of the product. It helps to communicate the features of the product even in the absence of a push girl. Great Job!

The sample kit includes one shampoo and one conditioner of the intense repair variant.

Great thing about Dove Hair Therapy:

    • Rich formula
    • Nice smell (I only like fruity smell for hair care, but I liked this one)
    • Sachet has the right amount
    • Has shimmery / silky texture that is so cute (Don't get scared, it won't make your hair shine in glitters)
    • Creamy in color
After using the Shampoo and Conditioner (used both items on separate days to know the result of each), it made my hair soft! My verdict..........     I will buy the product to test it on a regular basis if it will really work as it promise.

But overall, this trial convinced me to buy their product and continue to use it.

P.S. If you want to see the result of my hair, check out my First Fashion Blog, go to this link Fashion Blog.

Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring

It's been quite sometime that I had my hair colored. I felt that since it's new year I need a new look too ( o diba ang gandang excuse)! It really is a great timing to color my hair as I don't want to trim my hair nor do some straightening treatments (another excuse hehe).

And yes, I did color my hair using Etude Bubble Hair Coloring. How did I come up with this brand?
While debating on where to color my hair, either at home or in a salon (us girls really complicate things...). But I've been busy with work for the past year, so it will be more practical to color my hair at home. I have tried known brands for DIY hair colors and some were satisfying but some did not achieve what I wanted. Since I have super black hair, I needed a hair color that would be light enough for it to stand out but won't turn into blond or super bright color.

I got my Etude Bubble Hair Coloring during the Holiday Season. Since it was the time for gift giving, exchange gifts and kris kringle, I decided to have this on my wish list (Thanks Porky Pig!!!, my kirs kringle daddy). I was choosing from the brands that I have used before which proves to be effective with my black hair and suites my taste.  But then I came up at the area where Etude House was located. I have known and own some of their products but I failed to notice their Hair Color line until recently. I noticed that Korean Girls have good hair colors which also complement their skin tone. And since I wanted a stronger hair color that would not turn into blond, I felt that Etude Hair Coloring is worth a try.

Etude Bubble Hair Coloring is a shampoo type hair coloring, its bubble foam can give more vivid color than cream type items.
Available in 2 colors. Sweet Orange and Black.
It cost around 370 bucks each.

The set contains:
  • 2 hair color potions (I don't know how to call them so I made up my own definition hehe) as the hair coloring
  • 1 set of gloves
  • 1 plastic apron (other brands don't usually have so I find this cool)
  • 1 conditioner

How to use Etude Bubble Hair Color

Step 1:

Pour pink sachet into the pumping container.

*The pink sachet contains a light brownish fluid while the pumping container has clear fluid.

Step 2: Mix the 2 fluids together. Shake shake shake and pump!!! This is so much fun!!!

You'll notice when pumping, the color turns into violet with a foamy texture. (Thought bubble: Oh no, what am I getting myself into?? My hair might turn into violet.)

Step 3: Apply onto the hair, from the roots to tips.
Foam that has stained my hand turns into orange. (Still having thought bubbles: Have they mix matched the fluids? But still continues to apply onto my hair)

Step 4: Leave on for 30 minutes.
(Still having thought bubble: hhhmmmm my hair seems still black, will it turn to orange or violet?? oh my)

Step 5: Rinse thoroughly.

You will see orange like color that will flow along with the water while rinsing.
(Continue with thought bubble: Oh no, it might not work)

And after drying my hair, the result was..........

It was a success! I liked it! The color enhances as the days pass by.

What I like about Etude Bubble Hair Coloring

  1. The cute container! (I love it, I love the shape!!)
  2. The pump of the cute container!! (Liking the pump as it makes the process much easier and fun) Like Like Like
  3. Availability of an apron.
  4. It doesn't have any stinky smell and the conditioner smells good!
  5. It has the right quantity (not too much and not too little).
  6. I like that it turns into foam = less mess!
  7. It is easy to use.

What I don't like about it

  1. The apron got ripped off easily and I was not able to use it. :(
  2. After 1 day, my hair became a little bit dry. (I just conditioned my hair and it went back to normal again Yipee!!! )
  3. Instructions were written in Korean language, I needed to rely on the image at the side of the box.

I took another shot 2 days after. You can see the color enhances.
Sorry for the fake smile! :)
Just took the photo stralling around to share with you the hair color....

* I would like to thank my nephew and niece for helping me apply the hair color. mwah!!!

-XOXO-
