Don't Just Fly & Hoeing Ain't Easy

Good morning!  I have been so busy in my craft room, today I have 2 cards to share.  For my first card, I would like to enter it into the following challenges:

Path of Positivity

Critter Crazy - Anything Goes with Featured Critter

Let's Craft & Create #215 - Anything Goes/Optional Cheers to You (Use a Sentiment)

We Love Stamping - Anything Goes/Optional Anything but Square

AAA Card Challenge #281

I'm getting more comfortable with the clean and simple style!  This adorable stamp set is called Oceans to Fly from Colorado Stamp Company.  I stamped the sentiment & bear directly on a white cardstock base. I stamped the plane on a separate piece of white cardstock, colored with alcohol markers, fussy-cut and attached with foam dimensional tape.  I love the way you can see the shadow of the plane!

And this next card is for the following challenges:

Just Us Girls - Die Week

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Something New (the stamp set)

Make My Monday - Favorite Challenge of 2024 (#221 - Spring Flowers)

Colorful Options - Yellow, Purple, and Green

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - N is for NBUS (Never Been Used Stuff)

A Cut Above - Anything Goes

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Retro Sketch #25

I created my background by blending Distress Ink on watercolor paper and then blending a darker shade of Distress Ink through a harlequin stencil.  I used the same darker shade to blend on another piece of watercolor paper and cut a frame out of it.  I used some scraps of previously distressed paper for the die-cut leaves.  I used a circle punch for the yellow circles behind the image. The "Hoeing Ain't Easy" stamp is a new set I got from Ink Road Stamps (currently on hiatus but they WILL be back) that I had not previously used before. Everything was attached using foam dimensional tape. Peace.

The Greeting Farm - Guest DT for January - Wishing You Wonderful Things

Good morning!  I was so excited to be asked to be a guest designer for the month of January for The Greeting Farm!  The Greeting Farm has been one of my favorite stamp companies for many, many years now - I have amassed quite a collection of stamps and digis from them, so my biggest problem was trying to decide which of these adorable images to use!  I decided to go with Wonder Anya for my first project:

I created my background by blending a light purple distress ink on watercolor paper, then a darker shade of purple through my Harlequin stencil, then spritzing with water and blotting with a paper towel. I made the "keyhole" by hand, simply traced it on another piece of watercolor paper that I had blended distress inks on to create a sunrise effect and cut it out with scissors.  I used a grass die cut for the bottom of the keyhole.  I then stamped all of the images onto a heavy duty white cardstock with Versafine Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and colored them with alcohol markers.  I fussy-cut them all out and attached them with foam dimensional tape.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Something New (the stamp)

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Something New (the stamp)

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Hello Winter

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting!  Peace.

Wild at Heart

Back to Monday!  But that's OK with me, cuz my cutie pie grandchildren come over on Mondays.  ;)

Gem of a Challenge 1 - Anything Goes

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #295

I created my background by using acrylic paints on my gel plate with the double honeycomb stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (use code JennFan10 for 10% off!).  I stamped my bee from Visible Image with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped Wild at Heart from Woodware Craft Collection for the sentiment. Peace.

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes

We Love 2 Create - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp - Something New (the stamp)

The Crafter's Cafe - Anything Goes/Optional Monochrome

I took the "Snow White" challenge literally - I previously mostly had all digi stamps from CC Designs, so I recently placed an order for some of their clear stamps and for this card, I used Snow Swissie, colored with alcohol markers, fussy-cut her and then attached her with foam dimensional tape.  I created my background by blending Distress Inks on watercolor paper and lightly misting with water. I stamped some texture stamps from Funky Fossil on the background, then I added some red gemstone stickers, an apple brad, and a little ribbon tag.  Peace.

I made a bookmark using a tag die for my granddaughter Raeana, who turns 6 on January 15.  I used Capricorn digital stamp from Polkadoodlescolored with alcohol markers and fussy-cut, then attached with foam dimensional tape. I used the Capricorn paper from the Polkadoodles Zodiac signs - Printable Paper Patterns for the background.  I used "Have the Best Day Ever" from the Polkadoodles Birthday Sentiments & Greetings digital stamp set.  I sponged the edges of the bookmark and added some little pearl stickers, then tied a floss-like ribbon on it through a flower eyelet.
