Red-Shift Moto Boots

From Inkipedia, the Splatoon wiki

The Red-Shift Moto Boots are a pair of shoes in Splatoon 3.

They are a 2-star item produced by Rockenberg and come with the primary ability Special Saver. They must first be unlocked through leveling up the Drizzle Season 2023 catalog to level 34, then they can be purchased from Crush Station for Cash 12,000. They can only be ordered from another player after being unlocked.

Appearance

The Red-Shift Moto Boots are a pair of professional motocross boots. Mostly red and white, the shoes consist of numerous parts of various texture and material. The first layer seems to be red, covered by white armor. Then two metallic red straps, the smaller on the vamp and the larger around the wearer's calf, finish the whole construction. A few bare metal elements can be seen, such as screws on the upper strap, a small triangle on the outer side and the chunky outsole.

Abilities

The Red-Shift Moto Boots come with Special Saver as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Red-Shift Moto Boots come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of them from Crush Station for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since they are made by the Rockenberg gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
