CME ACCREDITATION
Southern Medical Association has been an accredited provider of CME since 1983.

Do you need assistance with CME accreditation and/or joint providership for your educational activity or quality improvement program? We can review your activity, provide professional faculty to peer review your materials, as well as assist with meeting planning and additional support services.

IMPORTANT: Joint Providership is the term used to defines the relationship between a Non Accredited Organization (YOU) and an Accredited Provider of CME (SMA). ACCME accredited providers that plan and present one or more activities with non-ACCME accredited providers are engaging in “joint providership.” The accredited provider (SMA) must take responsibility for a CME activity when it is presented in cooperation with a nonaccredited organization.
