Lauren Jansen | DIY on Instagram: "Primary bedroom FEATURE WALL! It’s finally time to transform our bedroom and I decided to kick it off with a new timeless feature wall behind our bed. I started by framing the entire room with 1x6 primed pine. Then I added 2 vertical 1x6s 4’ in and one row across the room 32” above the baseboard. This wall is 15.5’x8’! Then I grabbed some trim from Lowes to frame inside all the 1x6 panels for a pretty detail! THEN, I used a smaller trim to add frame moulding inside our larger frames. Frames in frames in FRAMES. I added this 4” in on all sides. I just nailed everything to the wall and angled my nails in - no need for glue especially if you change things as often as I do! After some caulk, wood filler, and paint… HERE SHE IS!
