[change source]What do the fractions mean? 1/21, 18/3, etc. Jim.henderson (talk) 22:32, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Dates - we should avoid use of numbers and change the dates appropriately, i.e. January 21, March 18, etc. << S O M E G A D G E T G E E K >> (talk) 01:56, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
- Good. I figure the version section is uselessly confusing, of interest only to insiders. Might as well delete it. Incidentally my Win 8 machine is downloading the 10 update as I type this on my iPad. Jim.henderson (talk) 03:41, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
Making this article easier to understand
[change source]As an example of how we can all do this, why not take a look at my newly created stub on Windows 10 Mobile. << S O M E G A D G E T G E E K >> (talk) 02:37, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
Distribution
[change source]Our article says " Beginning on that day, Windows 10 was available as a free upgrade for users running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 for one year" and "July 29 - General availability" -- I signed up for it in June or early July. As of today (2015.09.14), I get a message that my upgrade is not yet available due to high demand combined with a need to check my computer. This reality reflects a statement made by a Microsoft officer, Terry Meyerson: : "Starting on July 29, we will start rolling out Windows 10 to our Windows Insiders. From there, we will start notifying reserved systems in waves, slowly scaling up after July 29th. Each day of the roll-out, we will listen, learn and update the experience for all Windows 10 users." Windows 10 Cloud
[change source]For those who do not know, Windows 10 Cloud is a version of Windows 10 meant to compete with Chrome OS. It is unreleased and unannounced. Should I add it to this article? Bandideux (talk) 22:55, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
