Franklin County, Alabama

Franklin County is a county in the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, the population was 32,113.[1] The county seat is Russellville.[2] The name is in honor of Benjamin Franklin, famous statesman, scientist, and printer.[3]

Franklin County was founded on February 6, 1818.
