Sun City is a city in Barber County, Kansas, United States, along the Medicine Lodge River. As of the 2020 census, 37 people lived there.[3]
History
[change | change source]Sun City was founded in 1872.[4] The first post office in Sun City was founded in August 1873.[5]
Geography
[change | change source]Sun City is at 37°22′45″N 98°55′03″W / 37.379041°N 98.917485°W (37.379041, -98.917485).[6]
According to the United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.15 square miles (0.39 km2). All of it is land.[2]
Climate
[change | change source]Sun City has hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system says that Sun City has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[7]
