Over the summer I’ve been working on a new project that is designed to work even in full lock-down. The idea is that you can use your phone to control massive sky lasers mounted onto tall buildings across the city.
I was thinking about the Light Festivals and the work we usually do there… but they’re kind of in limbo at the moment. No one’s really sure what the situation with the pandemic restrictions will be like in the Autumn.
But with this project, it doesn’t matter, whatever the state of the lockdown, it’ll still work. Even if you can’t leave your house you’ll see the lasers in the sky.
We have our first test event in Brighton on 1st October and then a huge installation for Light Night Leeds! More information is on the dedicated website at laserlight.city
