Watercolor postcards

"I came up with the idea when I was pregnant with our first," the mom told Bored Panda. "I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor and wanted to do something funny to send to family and friends. That's when I came up with the first card!"

Artist Erik Davis has been using our Watercolor Postcards to create beautiful, fun and vibrant pieces that anyone would be thrilled to receive in the mail! He uses a permanent ink pen to create the drawing, then adds color over the top with watercolors.

Summer is coming to an end, so I'd like to share sunlight, sea and excellent mood with you! I love watercolor painting and from time to time, I create watercolor postcards. As a rule I draw several postcards according to chosen theme and then I give away them randomly to anyone interested using Instagram. Among my previous series of postcards you'll find tasty breakfasts with cups of coffee (I adore coffee!), tulips and a glass of sangria.
