They grow `em bigger in Texas!! —Two Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife rangers rounded up an 11 foot long Western Diamond Back Rattlesnake on March 22, 2012 on the shore of Lake Whitney State Park, Texas. The rangers said rattlesnake was sunning itself when they found it Wednesday. Despite the size, the rangers said the snake was nothing to be concerned about. They said snakes are vital in the control of rodent and pest populations.
