Small town photography

When passing through this small town in Kentucky I thought that I spotted a gas station museum. I pulled over to check it out and realized that this was a completely functional business. There was even a shiny green John Deer tractor in the bay door to the right.

Creating these images bring me so much comfort. I grew up in a small town, and there is nothing more peaceful to me than walking the streets of that tiny town after the rain... when the trees are heavy with raindrops and the world is so fresh and green.
