The Mind Motel is a huge prison-like facility, inspired by a Panopticon, and Hong Kong's bedspace apartments. A place where people go to live in a virtual world by being hooked up to hyper realistic simulations. The space was to appear like an array of prison cells, fenced off with minimal facilities. A brutalist cell with a bed, hanging space and bench to cook their food, toilet and VR helmet with a frenzy of cables that people use to escape their current living conditions. Instagram…
