Back in February, I contributed a story about ecobricks to Cosmopolitan Philippines. By the time my article was published, I was deeply invested in this environmental movement. Ecobricks teaches people how to make reusable building blocks by packing soft plastic garbage into plastic bottles. The building blocks can be used for buildings, walls, or modular furniture. The group says ecobricks offer a zero-cost solution to the problem of widespread plastics pollution.
